Love Island 2021 #37 Dwindling fame and no fans in sight. Future Prospects? Certainly not bright

I’m not sure if it’s a good thing for Lib, it seems like she’s just cashing in on any deal she can get. She’s doing too much too quickly in my opinion, I think her popularity will burn out quickly doing this. Her engagement has already gone down a lot already too.
 
No one will be talking about Liberty (or anyone from the series) in a few months anyway. I dunno why brands bother giving them deals, it's a pretty sizeable marketing outlay and there's no easy way of measuring how much money the brand makes off the back of it.. But I'm sure the lashes brand will help Lib stay true to herself 🤫

I don’t think any of them will be overly successful. That’s not to say they won’t have success, but I think some of them will only do smaller things, like I can see Teddy presenting the competition segments on This Morning for example.
but I don’t think any of this this year are particularly memorable. I think they’ll just fade from public memory personally. Liberty is obviously cashing in while she can, and I don’t think anyone can really blame her for that. But I can’t see her really ever becoming a household name

Is there any past islander that can be described as a household name?

Unless i’m forgetting anyone, it's just Kem, Chris and Maura who are the most known, but still I think the majority of their fans knew them from love island first. Wes is trying to make it in music, Molly mae in fashion, but Love island is always the most notable thing any of them have done, they would have to work very very hard to shake that off. Being known as “from love island” can also really hurt their chances of major success outside of that bubble. I can't see any of the series 7 lot coming close to the few known islanders from past series.

Not really, but I just mean in relation to what they’re trying to do with Liberty. I think they’re definitely trying to make her into a bit of a celeb, but I just can’t see it happening. I mean that anyone from Love Island is a household name, I just mean it in relation to Liberty
