I saw on TikTok that Priya was after free makeup artistry work. And cancelled on a girl when she realised she would have to pay. Obviously we don’t know both sides of the story, but if it is true, it’s a shame that islanders come out expecting to be treated as VIPs in all aspect of life. Especially when they were in there for long!

I’d like to think, especially working in healthcare, Priya would be more aware of the difficulties faced by self employed people over the last year and half. To ask for something for free in return for ‘exposure’ is so cheeky!

I feel like this years islanders seem even more desperate to stay in the public eye than before 😂maybe it’s because im paying more attention and and actively looking for it, but some of them seem so so desperate to cling onto that little bit of fame they’ve got. Don’t get me wrong, enjoy your 15 minutes, but I think the only ones, from previous seasons, who’ve stayed in the public eye are ones who have a career they can walk into. Whether that’s presenting, or influencing or whatever. I don’t think anyone stays around long if they’re just famous for being famous. I know a lot of down to agents and what not, but for some of them, all they’re gonna get is that initial bit of interest.

To be honest, I'm surprised off-limits signed Faye . I can't see her getting much in the way of fashion deals, tv work or glamour modelling.
Maybe just a short term cash grab for them, while her instagram engagement is decent.

Maura should be pretty pleased, as she's clearly still going to be their big focus going forward.

Exactly! I feel like this is such a pivotal time to decide how they’re going to use the game they’ve got. Georgia is using hers wisely and think that will set her up for the future and; get her noticed. Shannon however, she’s just bitter and has got attention for all the wrong reasons. She will be forgotten about in a month.

Of this series, I can’t actually see many. And that’s not me being mean, I just can’t. Teddy I can see maybe getting a small time presenting job on little segments on This Morning or something, and I’m sure Liberty will end up doing something, but I’m not sure there are that many that stand out. I think Millie will do something but more within the fashion industry, so not necessarily in the public eye.
 
That’s interesting re Millie and I suspect you’re right given she’s already in fashion. And in other series, how many actually do well? It must be a bit of poisoned chalice potentially. Too famous to do anything serious but not quite famous enough… is molly mae, the breakout star? Although I would have thought dani was at one point?
