He’s making small digs to put someone down or to be passive aggressive, that’s not banter. Banter is just a way to excuse his actions. Some people dont mind and some people do snd that’s fine, you need to know your audience when you’re “bantering”.

constant nit picking on top of him constantly talking to her with contempt, her self doubts with everything that’s happened I totally understand why she feels like it’s affecting her and her wanting to be herself, she’ll be on pins all the time. He might be being grumpy but she’s not a punching bag. These little things shouldn’t be bothering Jake this much this early on. I think he meant what he said about getting the ick.

I hate the whole “you’re just being sensitive” bollocks, we all have our insecurities and boundaries. Straight out of a manipulators handbook.

I just think if you’ve experienced this type of man you get totally what she means. From my experience he just gives off red flag after red flag 🚩
 
Liberty has given her all to the relationship and gotten nothing back in return. She hadn’t actually dumped him yet and he started saying “it’s best we go our separate ways” cos he knows he isn’t into her and wants her to end it so he doesn’t have to. It’s funny how his attitude got even worse once he realised the public doesn’t like him/them as a couple. I have experienced this type of relationship and it’s a lot more than what it might come across as.

I think they’ll go on the date and decide to leave when they get back. It makes sense, no point in getting to the final of Love Island as mates or exes.
 
Surely Liberty knows the difference between friendly banter and him making sly comments? I must’ve either missed his comments or they’ve not been aired?

I’m puzzled fo why again jake hasn’t tried to reassure her 🤔

Are they both thinking to leave now by being dumped or cause they’re single will create a bigger buzz around them individually?

If the get back together tomorrow night then they’re just as bad as each other..

Exactly this, can you imagine Jake on his own when all the couples are doing the speeches about how perfect the other is 😂

I think this is probably the most interesting thing to happen this entire series tbh…

I think Jake has been a dick to her, no doubt about it. But I equally she was playing a game. She wanted to be the next Dani abs Jack, and then realised the public didn’t actually like Jake and so started listening more to her doubts.

They were never right for each other, they just never really tried with anyone else because they felt like coasting to the final.

I think you are one of my friends from school 🤔 we used to drink this flat 🤣🤣
Take 1/4 or 1/2 ;bottle of vodka into nightclub then just ask for wkd in a pint glass 🤣🤣 not obvious like 🤣 then went to uni and they weren't used to that drunkeness sp toned it down for a bit lol just for a bit. Till everyone caught up.
