See round where I live ‘weapon’ is also used as a derogatory comment. Much the same as ‘you look well’ where I’m from is basically saying you look a state! Whereas twenty miles up the road, it means that you look good!
Words at least can mean different things depending on where you’re from. It’s quite bizarre really!
That said, I didn’t realise that tutting had any sort of historic link/meaning, so thanks for that!

I always think when people say "You look well" they mean I've put on weight. It's my least favourite compliment
