I’m from Yorkshire and never heard of a spice bag. We’d just order salt and pepper chips, salt and pepper chicken, salt and pepper ribs 🤣 which sounds to be the same as what someone described as a spice bag

The reason I asked the question is because the previous poster said that there were connotations behind the term ‘uncle Ted’ ..I wasn’t sure what these connotations were, and so asked the question, is that okay with you?

Honestly I’m still really upset about Faye laughing at our Teddy and his sandals and love for jazz music when he is this PRECIOUS

My Philipino mates say tita for aunties its a sign of respect. I'll say tita grace for a woman in work I know years but its a sign of respect. Another co worker I've known since I was 19, she told me to call her aunty years ago and always refer to her as aunty ---.

Of course it could be racist like a white fella calling a black man cousin or something like that but sometimes its endearment.

I think they respect teddy a LOT as hes the only with a brain ( think Matt too) and maturity !! And thats why they call him uncle Ted

My mother is law is Filipino and does the same thing :). She scolds my husband if he drops his manners too 🤣
