I think everyone is being a bit harsh with clarisse. Tyler made her believe he fancied her and then when they get back to the villa he's bleeping her around and going back for kaz but still stringing her along. Of course she's going to be standoffish. None of the OG girls have made an effort with her, presumably out of 'loyalty' to kaz. Kaz, BTW is someone I have never liked from the start. She is very obnoxious and has been from day 1. The way she's treating matt is horrible and she would slate anyone doing this to her or her friends.

As for clarisse removing her shoes, I've seen it theorised on reddit that it could be a signal/que to the producers that she wants out of the villa or needs to be pulled by them for a chat. There was something like this on another reality show where the contestants placed towel around their neck it meant they needed to be removed or taken for a chat. Which would explain why everyone was so shocked and concerned. Just a theory!
