Can anyone tell me what Luke M. said to Jess after she proposed in the challenge? I replayed it many times and couldn't work it out. Something about daylight?
 
Oh boy. and I caught up just in time for CA.
I thought Molly was gonna go straight for Luke M by the way she was talking. Honestly he's my favorite guy in there, so I wish somebody good would go for him. He's been really gentlemanly and mature about everything and was done so damn wrong by Jess.

I hope Mike gets no one.

Not surprised Callum's head is turning and he's most def gonna jump ship. He looks like he hasn't got any attraction to Shaughna but God love the girl, her sense of humor is fire. Love her even though she's insecure, she's my type of girl. I'm worried this Josh character is just after her because he knows she's popular. I question if it's sincere even though it is LI....

I wish to God Rebecca had been dumped, so tired of her.

I liked Wallace but I found his voice annoying. Not the Scottish accent, I liked that, but his voice kept breaking like a 13 year olds. 🤣
 
I’ve been in bed with flu. Got up to see the casa amor newbies. They’re so weak. I’ve seen more personality in a digestive biscuit. I think this might be the beginning of the end for me watching it. So false and contrived now. Rebecca should be gone!

There’s no diversity in there... I do get it,
6 pack and size 8s are easy on the eye, but it’s sending me to sleep. No offence to “models” but I want some real people in there with real personality’s. Your right this is the beginning of the end x

I mean last year and the year off Amber/Olivia were good. Ovie was just 🤤 And I loved Kem & Chris. The girls were all shapes/ages/sizes and same as the lads. The kick offs and stuff had me hooked. Now it’s swanning around giving yourself intentional wedgies. I want real people, ready for love, ready to settle down with Matt the batman or Fred the bouncer 😂 Just normal people ready for a life of weddings/babies & love.
I’m so old 😆

Sadly I think that ship has sailed I don’t think LI will ever capture the magic of S1 and S2. Even if they chose “normal” people and not the “models/influencers” they will still be after the fame dollar at the end of it. They’re all so aware of public image now too which makes it all so very dull. No massive bust ups, no shagging in case they get branded bullies/sluts etc. Sad but true.

Remember when Jon proposed to Hannah in season 1? Wowwwwwww. It’s gone downhill from season 3, the last time they were allowed more then 1 drink and could smoke on camera!

I started on S3 at the insistence of my teenage daughter who had watched S1 and S2. We then went back and watched 1 and 2 together - tv gold 😂. Last couple of seasons not a patch on the first 3. S1 Australia fantastic too.
 
Oh dear all the Casa Amour girls are way hotter than the originals... & the new guys are "ok". Producers must have done this on purpose to get the guys to couple up with new girls. Callum really should trust his instincts & go with who he is attracted to, I feel he felt he had to stay with shaughna. Has anyone seen Unreal tv show it's a drama based on The Batchelor v interesting.
 
Ok here’s a question: if you were advising the Love Island producers on how to revive future series, what would you tell them? Is it even possible, or is it just diminishing returns from here, like Big Brother?

I was wondering if they could find hot contestants who have no social media presence. What that help? There has to be a new generation of young people not interested in instafame. But would they want to go on Love Island?
 
I think they need to go with people who actually want love more than fame. I think they have to be older and normal looking with careers. I also think they need to actually have things to do (which was why i thought a ski chalet would be good. They could've had sexy ski instructors, chalet girls who could've tempted the in-mates, rather than casa amor (like forbidden fruit).)

they also need to stop meddling (i.e. telling them what to do) with the in-mates.
