Who do we think will actually go through with it?

I don't think any one of the couples is actually compatible long-term.

That's the issue with shows like this becoming very popular, is they now know they can do the influencer route and gain followers from it so you get a lot of narcissistic, single-minded applicants who actually don't care about love.

I also feel like a lot of them are just too young to be on a show like this, I get Americans culturally get married earlier than certain other countries but like mid-twenties is very young to consider such drastic lengths to get married.

Who knew Shayne of all people would be the voice of reason these last couple of episodes. He still gives unhinged vibes though, like he's playing up his nice guy schtick for the cameras. Let's see what his argument with Natalie the night before is about.

Whew! I hope Shaina is a producer plant/actress to stir up drama. Otherwise that tit she pulled on the beach was fucked up.

The promo looks like Sal/Mal and Shake/Deeps will say I do. I suspect Nick will say I do after all that sweating and cliffhanging. The promo looks like Iyanna will be a runaway bride. I don't know about Shayne and Nat.

I’m all caught up now and thought I’d search for a thread on here. Might as well chip in with my thoughts.

I saw somebody else comment that they reckon Shayne is on something. Are there quite a few people who think this? His pupils are absolutely massive sometimes and he’s so jittery and a bit odd.

I love Sallory/Malvador 🤣 I really hope they both say I do.
I also agree with everybody else that Danielle is bonkers. She picks fights over absolutely everything. I can be very insecure myself and even I can see that the things she picks at are absolutely nothing. Nick does seem like he’s in the wrong though too at times and won’t accept it? They don’t seem like a good match regardless. Also his tit stirring. What is that about?

Deepti is so pure, I love how highly she holds her head, I really hope she doesn’t get hurt by Shake. His umming and ahhing has been quite irritating to watch, especially when he seems to be telling everybody else apart from her what his thoughts are.

****SPOILER****
I really like Natalie so I’d love to know what he said to her, she seems so hurt on the clip for the next episode 😔

Ok all caught up now

Sooooo shaina is just hiding behind the religion thing as an excuse?

This!!! She was so sexually suggestive in the pods to try and get whoever to "like" her...but the minute she meets him it was no sorry not into you. You aren't religious. If this was a big issue for her (&fine if it was) why say yes.. so no from the get go...she wanted her 15mins of fame.
Can't stand her. She is used to getting her way all the time and clearly this time she hasnt.
They way she tried to throw Natalie under a bus...i am glad Shane basically put her in her spot..

Shake what a dick... hope he doesn't hurt Deepti. I still don't buy into their relationship..

Malaory and Sal. He seems besotted by her. But needs to tone down the singing. Once off cute. Several times just annoying.

Natalie and Shane. I kinda dont mind them...they seem to be a genuine connection. Originally i thought Shane and shaina would be a good match.. but Shaina is just a witch and doesn't deserve anyone.

Jarrot and his lady who i forgot the name...i don't see them lasting. It seems forced.

Danielle and Nick (i always go to call her natalie for some reason). She needs therapy. She seems to want her party lifestyle and the status of being married without actually being married...and who at 28 is still dancing on tables and breaking furniture? Fine go out with your friends have a good time. But i am qith nick here and not be keen on having a party back our home as often as she made out she she has them... cant stand her either.

This season is definitely not as exciting as the 1st...

Danielle is so painfully insecure. I see a lot of my younger self (pre BPD diagnosis!) in her. She thinks she is self aware but she has so much work to do on herself.

They are all crazy insecure. Sal and Mal less so, or maybe they just communicate better. (Though red flag for salvador stringing that girl along before the pods). Shayne is big time insecure, playing up the bro stuff, his temper tantrums, his fragile male ego. Nah. Natalie wants more of his energy, but he just wants another motherly figure to look after him.

Deeps, she isnt as confident as first thought. She was so into him saying she would struggle to keep it PG with him but as soon as he said lets take it slow, she took it and repeated it like it was a mutual decision. I felt bad for her and wished she held onto her confidence more.

i've started love is blind brazil because i'm an addict and it is soooo much better!! pls everyone watch it so we can collectively drool over thiago 😍
Not my vibe. If he was chocolate he’d eat himself. Also having seen the series you may not be keen on his personality as it develops.

He has some archaic views about women having any past sexual history. He also turns around and says he probably won’t be monogamous. Then he breaks up with her after the show by phone.

She marries Mack and is currently pregnant with his child!

yeah i continued watching and agree with everything you've said unfortunately. i also saw the last spoiler on insta, happy for them 😄

I’m so pleased I can watch at 1.5 speed, as finding the whole series so boring this time (I know I could just stop watching but I keep hoping it’ll improve, and I do want to see who goes through with the weddings). I’m skipping through pretty much every interview / bit-to-camera too.

I agree that Danielle is a bit of a nightmare, but Nick also gives me bad vibes too. Potentially controlling ones?

I wasn’t convinced by Natalie and Shayne at first. It definitely seemed like he only chose her because she chose him first, but hearing the other couples talk about them as being the best match made me think they might actually succeed.

Shake and Deeps are destined to fail. Surely nobody could listen to their fiancé repeatedly tell the world that he wasn’t at all sexually attracted to her and not be severely wounded by that.

Sal and Mallory are both nice people but I do think she’s trying to convince herself that she’s more in love than she really is. They’re very boring to watch.

So this may be a controversial opinion but I think Nick is very controlling and that is why he likes Danielle - she’s indecisive and doubts herself so he can step in and tell her what the right thing to do/think is, basically what he does or thinks.

He has controlling traits and a need for order - the OCD, the making his own toothpaste and shower products, the showering twice a day.

She’s definitely not ready for any sort of relationship, but he is the opposite of the man she should choose. I believe he phrased things the way she describes because she holds onto nuggets of the conversation so he’s gaslighting her a bit by suggesting he didn’t say them. Perhaps they were taken out of context but that’s a different conversation.

I think Nick’s family are clearly horrible and don’t like him much. I can’t believe he’s had many relationships. My bf thinks he’s in the closet. I don’t like the fact he’s such a tit stirrer either.

Similarly, couldn’t stand Danielle’s mother - you can tell it’s all about her and that’s probably one of the reasons she’s grown up as she has.

My guesses are:
Danielle and Nick - (she says yes, he says no);
Mallory and Sal - (she says no, he says yes);
Natalie and Shayne (they both say yes);
Iyanna and Jarette (unsure, I think she may say no and he says yes);
Deepti and Shake (she says yes, he says no).

I think Shake is despicable telling anyone who’ll listen that he’s not attracted to her without raising it with her (until late on). Plus the whole Auntie thing. I don’t think he’s changed and he’ll want to end up with a petite blond girl.

omg it never ocurred to me to watch at 1.5 speed, thank you 😅

Agreed that Nick has controlling tendencies. Their relationship is really just a shitshow of two unpleasant/toxic people, in their own ways.
His mother was very strange, I couldn’t fathom the dynamic there. She seemed to despise him, took offence at everything he said and he seemed so on edge, waiting for her to take offence. Very strange all round.

I wish Shake and Trisha would've gotten engaged 😆

Nick and Danielle probably both are the product of their upbringing.

Yeh I agree. Also I wish they would choose people who were not conventionally attractive as they all are. Prove love really is blind 😂

I agree, but I think we all know how that would go.

It's why none of the plus-size women were even shown beyond Shake asking them about their weight.

He's properly awful, but I do think most of the men and women would struggle to agree to marry someone they didn't find physically attractive.

Okay so I predict;
Jarrette will say yes because he’s determined to look like A Good Guy
Iyanna will say yes because she believes she can change him (ha!) and have him do what she wants instead of what he wants

Shake will say no because as he keeps saying (over and over and over) he thinks of Deepti as his aunt and ultimately he’s shallow af
Deepti will say yes as she seems somewhat oblivious to the fact Shake doesn’t fancy her

Shayne will say yes because while he is a childish idiot, he’s quite keen on natalie
Natalie will say yes as she seems pretty taken with Shayne and imo their argument will have been overblown for drama

Mallory will say yes but the reason for that is entirely unknown. She doesn’t seem remotely interested in Sal and looks dead behind the eyes every time she says anything positive about him
Sal will say yes because he was more interested in winning over Jarrette than in Mallory (imo) and now feels he has a prize

Danielle will say yes, and would’ve said yes to any man who chose her because her self esteem is on the floor and she’s desperate to be loved
Nick will say no either because he wants to keep her in line and that’s the best way to do it or because he genuinely has misgivings about her behaviour

God same, I've had to skip through so much- I forget when watching American reality shows how much is repeated and stretched out. They could've done so much more with the initial dates and the development of the relationships to show how people start to leave the pod part and lost a lot of the to camera stuff later on with the couples

I think you can grow to find someone attractive, I have never gone out with someone long term that I liked physically from the outset, I got to know them and it went from there.

That said I would never go on a reality show so maybe that is a different type of person :ROFLMAO:

I agree but I also don't think the few weeks they have is enough for that. It takes a certain amount of ego to want to go on reality tv and that typically equates to a bit of superficiality.

There does seem to be some genuine ones but even they have their moments!

I am on this episode now and wow his mother really is odd. I don’t think she likes Danielle, or even her own son…

I can feel the tension coming through my iPad haha.
