No doubt if Louise did choose to double barrel she'd be called out for trying to be posh and lady of the manor.

I am very surprised that her partner agreed to such a public engagement though. I had a friend delete 300 odd off his fb, unlink all his family and friends, put everything on private, change his name and that's when he only just joined the force. He was warned that people could go after family and friends, and you don't want any identifying info available as it could be easily used against him.

I think she didn’t double barrel it because O’Neil sounds more commoner than Pentland!
I don’t think people are slagging her off for her choice but more for the fact that she never lets Liam get a choice! she even went to a scan without him didn’t she? Poor guy
And this engagement thing needs to stop cba listening to her parping on about it for 2 years... I’m engaged you know this is my future husband...
 
I don't see the big deal with Pearl having Louise name. I also gave my children my surname and their dad was fine with it. I didn't double barrel as my surname is already double barrelled but even if it wasn't I wouldn't have bothered. I find it weird that its even a discussion point in 2020 if she had been given Pearl, Liams surname nobody would think that there is anything wrong with that.

After being divorced and the fact that she got pregnant with Pearl early on in the relationship I can see why she used her surname, relationships don't always work out.

It's less about patriarchy and more about how Louise treat Liam (and Matt for that matter). She acts as if she's a solo parent. Never mind the fact that Matt has Darcy 50% of the time and Liam stays with Pearl all time so she can bugger off to God knows where. Liam is more like an accessory rather than her equal in their relationship. There seems to be very little respect for him. Not surprising considering the way she speaks about her father online. It just feels like Louise only values Liam's presence when it's convenient for her.

This is not nice but the truth rarely is. Louise has the emotional maturity of a teenager. The slightest thing goes wrong and she has a tantrum or starts in with the "I am so overwhelmed." How he puts up with it I'll never know. I'm guessing her being the mother of his child is a motivating factor. Take his name, don't take his name, I don't care. But don't act like you are on your own in all this. She doesn't know the first thing about solo parenting. If she did, maybe she'd shut her gob and be a bit more appreciative of Liam, Matt, and the active roles they play in their daughter's lives. Even divorced, she's a lot more blessed than a lot of women out there.

If you had only found louise’s Channel when she was pregnant with pearl and didn’t know anything else about her or watch any of her previous videos, you could easily think she was a divorced mum of one expecting her second child with no man in the picture because it was all her her her...

I just can't believe she used Darcy to advertise it! I'd shudder at the thought of my 8 year old daughter advertising anti ageing face cream.
 
Plus her playing with that face filter with Darcy , adding eyelashes that make her look like an adult in full makeup.... Is she an IDIOT about child internet safety/ inappropriate sexualised images that are just what paedophiles might a scour the net for .so I angry😠😠😠😠😠😠 surely Matt as teacher must be fuming.

Pretending your daughter got you a gift you were sent as a PR paid as is bad.

If my 8 year old bought me a rejuvenating face cream they’d be bloody grounded. Such an unflattering advert for Louise and for Olay

This latest post has infuriated me too! Using your kids to promote a gift for Mothers Day.... with the crisis going on in the world! Half of us probably won't be seeing our mother's if self isolating!
