Why did Pearl have the car anyway. She’s 6 isn’t she? She’s perfectly capable of walking
To be fair my 6 yr old daughter would probs want one of those cars too. And my 8 yr oldWhy did Pearl have the car anyway. She’s 6 isn’t she? She’s perfectly capable of walking
Louise has such a superiority complex, and is teaching Darcy to act in a bratty entitled way, expected to be treated like royalty, as though she is above the peasants shopping at Nike. so the changing room that LOUISE wanted to go in was closed, and because the staff in the store didn't immediately open it for Darcy and told them that the ones upstairs were open, she described the way they spoke to Darcy as "dismissive" and didn't like their attitude as it made Darcy feel uncomfortable - more like Louise's entitled behaviour caused Darcy to feel embarrassed. given that good egg was with them, there was no reason that Pearl's car needed to fit in the lift - she wasn't there alone with the two girls, she could easily have accompanied Darcy to the next floor, while Pearl and Liam waited downstairs with the car, rather than kicking up a fuss and complaining on IG that the ground floor changing rooms were closed and the lift in the Nike store wasn't big enough to fit a toy car that SHE chose to hire!I saw this and felt weird. Someone asked how they were rude to Darcy in the comments. Louise’s answer was that the downstairs changing room was closed, so they had to go upstairs, and Pearl’s car wasn’t allowed in the lift. When Louise thanked shop staff, they ignored her.
yeah, the huge effort involved in Lady Louise getting in a LIFT instead of the staff in the store dropping everything and opening the downstairs changing rooms for D to avoid her the hassle! don't they KNOW who she IS?!She was probably pissed she had to go to different changing room as she’s a lazy oaf and self entitled
I think she does still see them regularly, we just don't see it anymore. I think Matt and Devon decided they wanted to remove their online presence and in turn, had issues with Louise's seriously obvious exploitation of Darcy and probably brought it up with Lady Louise which caused friction.Matt no longer works at the school- I saw it on the school newsletter on their website a little while ago saying Mr Watson was leaving the school, I posted a screenshot on this thread but it was removed for revealing information, I guess as it had the name of school (not hard to find out which school they go to, well done NSPCC ambassador). Would love to know the situation with Darcy seeing Matt and his wife, they both used to have open social media and post Darcy. Now she’s private and he doesn’t seem to be on at all, and Louise drops her little hints about remembering those days. Of course there was no Matt at Darcy's big birthday bash, and Liam was firmly playing the dad role. I can’t see why any judge would grant sole custody to Louise and can’t see why Matt would willingly give custody up?? He always seemed a very involved father and obviously as a teacher is a trustworthy person (ie not a drug dealer or pimp!!)

Nah, Devon and Matt tried desperately to exploit Darcy too.
Copied and pasted from an couple of old posts of mine:
They used to plaster her all over YouTube and accept the few freebies they were offered etc but their viewership never took off because they are both so very very dull. Devon had only just met her and was whacking photos of Darcy on Instagram. Devon’s MUM posted photos of Darcy on Instagram. They only stopped youtube because they didn’t get the viewers. If they’d got the followers, they’d be posting her everywhere too still.
I think Louise got pissed off with Devon and her mum overstepping big time with the happy family tit they’d post when they’d only known Darcy a few months and my theory is that when Matt didn’t do anything about it when she asked him to, Louise threatened him with cutting contact and dragging it through the courts (which would take a long time and cost money that he has much less of compared to her) if he didn’t do something about Devon and her mum. That’s why it was so instant and out of the blue that they were dropping the YouTube and attempts at milking Darcy for money.
I remember her trying to tart up an ugly bathroom with patterned vinyl, or something like that, and it looked complete tit.Does anyone remember Devon’s time saving tip of freezing sandwiches for a week? Or her singing on Spotify that would make your ears bleed.

I did think though, that Darcy seemed to dress like a normal kid her own age when she was with them. Like a totally different kid, in jeans and a printed tshirt, not twinned with her toddler sister, posing in frilly Victorian dresses and twee hair bows.

Two things really stood out for me: 1) not liking how Darcy was treated in a shop and 2) Darcy getting the money from the TikToks she featured in.
First - how did they treat her Louise? Not special? Like a normal person?
Second - setting a weird precedent for influencer Darcy, something about this feels very off to me. Can’t quite put my finger on it.
It's just ridiculous. She said on a tiktok with Darcy "I used to be a vlogger" and then realises what she said and backtracks saying something like "well I do still upload to youtube". You don't Louise, it's OK to fall out of love with doing something. You could've stuck with what you said when the honesty slipped out and just owned it but no, you want to still come across as a vlogger just in case you need to use YouTube for some extra cash for something. A cheeky ad or a half arsed homey vlog to keep the cash rolling in every now and again. Stop being so insincere and give it up. You so clearly can't be arsed.Gosh. She hardly bothers with YT now
The targets go to be Louise's old followers because she'd be bloody eaten alive by the teen tiktok audience. I have a 13yr old and there is no way on earth the Darcy would be in the 'in crowd.' She's so far from what the average 13yr old is like. Posh, sheltered, Nepo baby.
---It's so devastating to watch the 'mummy vlogger' descent into exploiter. It begins the same way and ends the same way. Little vids usually of their baby girls, clothing hauls, funny challenges, DITL, bedroom tours and then it transcends... when they're not little and cute and the views decrease suddenly the content changes.
Sitting down and discussing personal issues in front of the camera, periods, sex, boyfriends, alcohol. That child asking inappropriate questions and the Mummy answering because 'we don't have secrets.' Then the content becomes more intimate. 'Come with us to buy X's first bra.' 'X started her period.' 'Holiday shopping with X'. 'X has her first boyfriend.' 'Sex chat with X.' 'X does her makeup and answers questions from pervs. Have you ever been kissed *chortle* *chortle* *chortle*'
Are there influencers with kids that age exploiting them online? And do they really talk about things like booze & sex? I only know of the tween/early teen kids, there are some older American family vloggers aren’t there where the kids are adults now but did grow up online, like Norris Nuts I think they’re called?
Oof your description of Steve in his back room is spot on & made me feel sick, every instinct would be to protect your kid from that not put them on the sights of it.
I’m a secondary teacher, I got gifts from my y11/13 classes this year and most of those were bags of Haribo we all shared in lesson. I wouldn’t feel comfortable accepting anything worth more than that from a student. Maybe it’s a private school thing? Or more likely a way for Louise to make Darcy even more childish.
How THE duck she thought it was a good idea to say she didn’t want food banks
