she probably chose America because they speak English… going somewhere in Europe isn’t basic enough for her. Visiting someone here in the uk isn’t glamorous enough.

also, I can’t believe she took this trip so willy nilly but her visits to Marie are very rare.

ha, that reminds me - wasn't her argument that Disney should bend the rules because Lady Louise is from England, thus can't simply drop everything and fly to America to fit with their schedule around viewing wedding venues, thus they should allow her to visit to fit with the dates of her holiday - yet here she is proving that she very much IS able to pop over to Orlando on a whim, for a long weekend. 🙄

She was only recently going on about declutterring yet again! Absolutely waste of time just to buy more crap.
 
What's with the posh English voice? I mean,she's never sounded common but I swear now she's mingling with TV types she's gotten way worse. I used to really like her back in the day but I just can't relate anymore. She could do so much with that money she fritters away. If she was such a great friend of Marie why doesn't she buy her house for her or something? It's not like she can't afford it.

I feel like they always seem to have way cuter stuff than the UK, and more variety. 🫢 Probably because they really go all out for occasions over there.

But I still wouldn’t make a special bloody trip in an aeroplane to go there

Used to live in the US. They’re bigger than Poundland etc (but then everything is) but you can tell the quality is completely crap. Handy when you’re a student/on a budget but not worth flying 9 hrs for flimsy plastic tat that will disintegrate immediately.

I love Target and ALWAYS go there when I go back the US but at the end of the day it’s just a shop and not worth a specific trip for the random crap it sells.

Marie has a much lower income and lives in a small house with her four kids and husband. Marie always talks about moving or extending the house but they don’t have the funds. By comparison Marie is rich in love, family, life etc she seems to draw pleasure from simple things. Whereas Louise always seems to be trying to fill a void / keep moving up in life.
