That mirror looks nice, but I say that as a 23yo who can see louise has done something nice for Darcy because she loves her - if I were Darcy’s age I would think differently and find it quite embarrassing tbh. It’s the kind of thing that needs to be done by Darcy herself. Or at least kept quiet that it was her mother’s doing.

For someone who claims to be such a good mother and always mentions how abusive stepmother was...she sure has no problem controlling and exploiting her children for fame and money. Her whole channel is centered around her obsession with proving how different she is to her stepmother. It's very narcissistic. I'll never forget how she even openly said in a video with Mamrie Hart and Grace Helbig that Pearl was an accident (even if true, Pearl's going to see that one day! Wtf) and how she views her girls as dolls to play dress up.

Also, high key, I think she definitely got pregnant on purpose with Pearl because she wanted another kid and didn't want to wait or properly discuss it first with her (at the time) booty call (now fiance).

This photo to show us how sad she is about The Queen made me cringe so hard it physically hurt. I mean, I think it's sad and I've been watching a lot of the news coverage... But I haven't posted about it incessantly on social media and I certainly haven't worn black every day, or uploaded photos of me looking sad

She reacted more to the death of the queen than she did her own grandparents? Goes to show that everything she does is to appear a certain way, above anything else. She's so...false.

When I started high school my mum pretty much just left me to do my own thing, not make embarrassing craft projects like I was a 5 year old.

She's already started talking about Christmas. Even if posts about her 5k decorations this year I will lose it. She's so out of touch, maybe the money she's spent on that decor could be donated to her local food bank or she could help a family with their energy bills for the year, her income wouldn't even be effected by doing this.

If she was like this year I am going to gift to someone a christmas that I am privileged to get every single year and use that 5k on that and actually decorate my house with my kids like a normal person, but that doesn't fit this extra lifestyle she wants to portray.

A part of me is like, “you do you boo”, but how lovely would it be if she did give someone a Christmas? This explains why she is OTT…trying to make her kids childhoods magical but in actual fact may be smothering them whilst she tries to jam in everything she missed out on in hers.

Imagine saying gifts don't need to cost money and giving your loved ones recipes for Christmas, but meanwhile spending 5k on getting your house decorated. She is such a hypocrite. My family would disown me if i did that

Also do people really need to be told that you can give someone a card with a nice message in as an affordable gift?!

ah yes, advent calendars that are proved at £245, £185, £175 and £350! totally relatable! even the suggestion of a £45 paperchase advent calendar is a slap in the face for families who are struggling will be struggling afford heating and food for their kids over the winter, let alone feeling overwhelmed at the thought of not having £45 to buy christmas presents - let alone a bleeping advent calendar! she is totally overlooking the current financial climate, and the fact that so many kids will be going without even a £1 Kinnerton chocolate calendar.

Louise and her kids are so beyond privileged - yet she doesn't even acknowledge that fact. cute of her to offer suggestions of cheap gift ideas for the peasants, while also bragging that her girls are "top tier" on her gift list, and we all know damn well their gifts will cost an absolute fortune - along with the Christmas eve boxes of treats, and matching pyjamas etc - and they certainly won't be receiving a printed photo in a poundland frame!

perhaps she could consider buying a load of chocolate advent calendars and donating them to a food bank for kids who aren't so fortunate, rather than ensuring Darcy and Pearl have both a fancy chocolate advent calendar and an extortionately-priced stationery/beauty calendar. her content is so thoughtless and insensitive - talking about budgeting as though having loads of money put aside for christmas presents and excessive decorations is totally achievable with a little basic planning, not considering the fact that people who are struggling to afford food don't have money to put aside as part of their "yearly budget", because they are living from pay check to pay check just trying to get by.

My locker had decaying fruit in it and notes I was supposed to give to my mum. Private schools are swanky though, yanno.

From my experience (might be different at others) private school kids can seem a bit younger and immature at that age. No way would that mirror fly at a state school imo.

ETA: Went to a private school, we had lockers but no one decorated them except for one that was covered in One Direction stickers lol

Mine had lockers which were literally a tiny square so you could leave your PE kit in them if you wanted. No decorating or anything, just function. I didn't go to a private school though.

I get the feeling that this might be a bit of the 'disney/america-isation' of Louise's life. In the US (at least from what I've seen from TV) it seems very common to decorate your locker with personal bits and pieces. I think Louise is really desperate for this very commercial-type life where everything is as shown on TV...

this may be the case, but whether it's a private school thing or an attempt to emulate the decorated lockers of american high schoolers, the fundamental difference is that those kids choose what they want to stick inside their lockers - whether it's photos or posters or stickers etc. i get the impression that - whether Darcy wanted to decorate her locker or not - Louise has fully taken the reigns, as usual, and is attempting living her own life thru her daughter. that decorated mirror is far more suitable for a kid of Pearl's age - i'm sure Pearl would be delighted with it, especially if Louise bothered to involve her. her crafting session and allowed her to contribute - but ofc Louise "crafted" it for her darling Darcy. the last thing the poor girl needs is her mother to demand she hang it in her locker at school. it's very much Louise's style and the little girl style she forces on her little doll Darcy - all glitter and sequins and flowers and pink - and there has never been any indication that this is Darcy's preference, more so just an effort to comply with and please Louise, as Darcy is so used to doing.

poor Darcy may well have been excited at the prospect of decorating her locker, but i bet that excitement has fizzled out now Louise has taken control and crafted her a mirror that she will feel she has to display. and what's with the assortment of totally random words?! i can kinda see the logic behind dance/love/faith - although it's all very twee and cringe - but bold? talk? try? they're strange options for the context of a decorative mirror.
