I don’t understand how voting for Kamala is voting for kindness. Let’s not forget the genocide in Gaza funded by her government. Yes she’s the lesser of two evils but isn’t Louise a big supporter of Palestine?

Yeah I don’t think Americans realise how bleeping weird and crazy both sides are and how also how bizarre the whole system is - with only two choices and voting for a personality, not a party. I’m so so glad we have a different electoral system here, even if we do have our fair share of gobshites.

I’m worried about the result in America, as a lot of people are. But listening to Louise’s podcast today and her advice was to go out into your community and keep telling people what’s right. She never mentioned listening to people she may not agree with. I thought that was very telling.

Well there are other choices they just never get elected (Jill Stein Green Party, Robert Kennedy Independent) - still get what you mean though

Her dad died when she was young and they moved around a bit. Basically the same childhood as a quarter of ireland but Louise likes to think she survived a double homicide from her cot.
Did her aunt and uncle move with them to Ireland then?
Yes. They were living in Chicago too and came back with her and her brother. I read her book years ago. Her early life does sound chaotic

Her mum ended up on the streets if I remember rightly. And her and her brother dropped out of the school system.
