Just don’t understand why she can’t be honest, following the ozempic thread and it’s amazing reading results people are getting but also helping with side effects etc. she could find a real niche.
I’m carrying a stone I cannot shift, think it’s peri menopause cause it tbh, doing weights, cardio and calorie counting and it’s slow going. Everywhere going right with tape bar belly. Would love to try it but know it’s not for me as needed for those medically obese/pre diabetic etc.
I have given up flour and sugar and Im super strict with it.. sounds restrictive until you start it. Weight fell off at speed. I'm nearly 3m in now and Im a new woman. No calorie counting, enjoying my food, best thing I ever did.

@MiamooMoo you could always see if you could get Saxenda. That's the main one prescribed for weight loss in Ireland. It's not as effective as Ozempic but it's easier to get. Unfortunately its more expensive 🙄 (€300 a month!!!) unless you can get it on the drugs repayment scheme. It's very difficult to get Ozempic. My dad is on saxenda- he has heart problems, has older siblings with diabetes and still can't get Ozempic!
Ah I’ll keep going, if it doesn’t shift might ask about hrt, get hitting flushes and all that jazz! Will take a look at cutting sugar/flour OW.

The great thing is no calorie counting or food weighing. I eat 3 Square meals a day and adore my meals. Cravings and any real hunger pangs are minimum probably because blood sugar v stable. Meals are a normal just zero, and I mean zero flour or sugar. Berries ok and I eat plenty of those, usually with Greek yoghurt, full fat, and nuts. Omelette, curry with veg, no white rice, homemade soup, salads, basically anything and modify it. If I'm out I'll get steak with veg and garlic butter. Thetes no suffering going in but it's worked a charm!Keep it simple and drink loads of water. Best of luck.

I don't think can DM on here so apologies to those I am boring silly with my responses! Tonight for example I had fajitas, instead of wrap had avocado/guacamole, sour cream and cheese. Plenty of veg in with the chicken. Zero hunger or feeling of going without.
You're a star. GP wants me on Saxenda/Ozempic, but I'm trying to resist, def gonna go this way for a couple wks hardcore and see how I fair. I need to kick the sugar habit anyway.

Heres an article from the BBC when the show how easy it is to get an ADHD diagnosis if you're willing to pay.

Whether or not shes done this, or is simply on Ozempic/Wegovy, who knows, but I bet the excuse of ADHD meds will be used to explain her sudden, unexpected and entirely accidental weightloss.

Ah you're welcome, best of luck. I know people who have reversed prediabetes this way. Be super strict with it and it will stop the drip drip that keeps us craving it and the ups and downs of blood sugar that go with it.

Horse. tit.

I really doubt she's on ozempic, she's taking ADHDmedication, which can suppress your appetite. Any perceived weight loss has happened since she got her diagnosis, so I'd say there's your answer. There is some evidence to suggest that some people with ADHD tend to overeat for stimulation and to increase that dopamine hit, but it's not a confirmed consequence for all.
