I’m new here because of this story.

I lurked on popbitch years ago and it was widely rumoured on there that Kate had been a victim of abuse as a child because she said something about her dad or stepdad in an interview (I think) that was then hushed up.

I do wonder, it’s odd how Lottie has also grown up with issues.

don’t suppose anyone else can remember the facts of what Kate said, it’s been so long ago?
 
I saw a short interview with her, possibly to promote Celebs Go Dating, and...she came across better than I expected.

I'd love to know why she and Kate aren't on good terms. It seems to be about more than the age gap and Lottie's perception that Kate didn't support her enough

I think Kate also thinks she’s a bad influence on her daughter Lila- not just the drugs but things like being totally naked on OnlyFans and just general attention seeking
 
Re the rift between Kate and Lottie and Lottie saying they were 'never close'. I'm intrigued by it. Of course some of it could be Kate having views on Lottie's chosen line of work and thinking it harms the 'Moss brand'. It could be the age difference, maybe they saw little of each other when Lottie was growing up. Or drugs

I'm also wondering if the 'half sister' thing plays a role - maybe they don't feel like full sisters. I've seen this in my own family - my dad has 'half siblings' and even though they grew up together, the 'halves' don't seem to consider themselves full brothers and sisters with my dad and aren't close. I've made efforts to get to know the 'half cousins' and most of them haven't been interested. Maybe something happened years ago with my dad and his half siblings that i wasnt told about, because they seem so unfriendly

Tbh I don't see much of a difference with Lottie's nude work and what other models like Kate do. Unless maybe Lottie is doing personal requests or something more explicit on film than just nude snaps?

Wasn't a story doing the rounds that Lottie stayed with Kate during lockdown and when she left kate's home, Lottie left a couple of bottles of Kate's favourite wine in the fridge knowing that Kate was trying to remain sober? I can see how passive aggressive stuff like that would seriously make a sibling relationship difficult.
 
I think the quote from Lottie (well she claims her mum said it, but Lottie put it out into the media) that she was actually the person everyone was looking at on Kates *wedding day* sums her up - she’s so jealous of Kate and bitter/damaged that she can’t live up to her success.

Kate, who never discusses her family, has demonstrably tried to help her out with her career and personal life on multiple occasions, so Lotties assertion that Kates the problem and the reason they don’t have a good relationship now seems a bit hard to believe. Lottie is a complete train wreck, and I totally believe the rumours about her being involved in sexwork on the side, so if Kates now decided to keep her at arms length, I think it’s a good call.
