Lose it Like Lauren

I don’t know how she has the front to call these videos Vlogmas. Even the laziest of content creators have something vaguely festive going on in their videos. This was just a long stream of consciousness done purely to get the views to pull in Vlogmas cash. However much she may be struggling she always remembers to flog her Kofi link at the end. The bit that cemented for me how totally selfish she is was when a parcel arrived for her at her parents and she just sat at the desk and waited for her mum to bring it up to her. Her mum was on the verge of complaining about it and said about having to walk up the stairs “even with my rib” (can’t remember the exact wording) but Lauren edited the rest out. The more I watch her the more I dislike her.

I'm actually starting to feel the same.
There are some parts to Lauren that I really do like, but I think since being on here I am not a fan of a lot of what she posts.
Her latest vlog is very lazy, she is capable of so much better than that!
 
When her channel got a mini surge of followers a while back (who knows why or how), that’s when this new change started to happen IMHO. I do believe that she felt under a lot of pressure from herself which made her anxious, but also made her greedy because she loves attention a little too much. The spiral added to her weight gain and poor mental health to the extent that she couldn't dig herself out of the hole. She feels so tit she can’t help but be self absorbed and therefore has nothing to show in her vlogs. I know many won’t agree, but to me she has lost some weight and looks like less of a massive blob full of inflammation thanks to eating a little bit better, but this move that she thought would be another positive step is very much another bad decision. I’ve often wondered if she hoped her GF would suggest to move in together, but GF seems to have her head screwed on and it’s clear Lauren is way too bleeping messy to live with a person who’s isn’t as messy as her. Her GF is a carer and probably fully aware that she could slip into that role in her personal life if she didn’t pay attention.

I also have to remember that she used to hang out with Amelia who is an absolutely insufferable bleep, so even though she finally dumped her, like always attracts like.

I put more thought into this post than Lauren put into her Vlogmas.

Her mum must be wondering if she’ll ever be able to stop work. Lauren treats it as a part time job and sails in when she fancies so there’s no way she’ll be able to manage that business herself.

I think her channel had a mini surge because YT started pushing her videos out to a new category of viewers. I’m a 30-something childless woman stuck in a classic London rent trap situation, and although I’m not new to Lauren (been watching her for a good 6/7 years) her content has definitely been more relatable than the others I’ve been watching for years, who all seem to be entering their ‘married with children’ eras. I can see how her channel would have appealed to people similar to me.

I just can’t cope with how depressing her content is at the moment. I hoped moving would herald a mini rebirth for her but it seems to have done the opposite. She didn’t take it as an opportunity to declutter the crap from her studio (it seems like she just threw everything into boxes, in yesterday’s video she’s pulling out random shoes she forgot she owned?!), start new habits or create a new daily routine for herself. She’s still buying ugly cheap decorative junk. I can’t bear to see it, that’s why I’ve decided I’m not watching any more 🤦🏻‍♀️

She is really taking the piss with these videos. Vlogmas Vlog 2 is just her changing her sheets, driving in the car, talking to her mum and having fried eggs with her mum. Its the video equivalent of using loads of extra words to make it to the word count in a school essay.

She is utterly self-obsessed, talking about her therapy and how she's coping. She doesnt know she's born! She needs a proper job, a couple of kids to look after and an ageing parent to look after FFS. Eurgh. Not going to watch her again.
 
Her hug box comments section infuriates me. Anything negative and even construction criticism and helpful feedback is yeeted. Pathetic
 
What a surprise, she’s tanked after a grand total of 2 Vlogmas videos. Couldn’t even be bothered to put a message on her community tab to let the 30k viewers who watched her last video there wouldn’t be one this week. She really should give up YouTube and just focus on growing up
