She does her research and she is very analytical. However, she’s so closed minded (very tabloid right wing) that she often doesn’t give a very measured or interesting response.

Anyone seen the DM article about Colleen’s show in Blackpool? Apparently she sounded awful, way out of tune and was only saved by Shane junior actually singing in tune

They’ve just done a preview on This Morning as to what’s coming up on today’s Loose Women and I’m sure I saw Janet Street Porter on the panel
It looks as though whatever issues there were with her have been resolved.

I like Olivia but I felt she was a little put out when on the panel with Frankie recently. They did interact and to be honest I didn't get the same vibes from Frankie, she seemed the same as always, but I felt Olivia was a little more reserved than usual. Perhaps because Frankie got quite a bit more attention? I do like them both though but maybe not on the same panel. Did anyone else feel the same?

Not a fan of Frankie but why have you reduced her to her husband’s accessory? She was in the band The Saturdays, so she had a career. She isn’t someone who married a footballer like Coleen Rooney, she had a job. Her husband is a HAB of her if that is the case. Not sure who Olivia is - was she on Love Island? Is she a WAG - is her fame predicated on her husband?

Olivia is more famous than her husband who is a footballer - not in the league of Grealish or Rooney but presumably good enough (I know jack tit about football to be fair). I really like her - one of the only Love Island/TOWIE alumni who seems to have a brain and a sense of humour. She's done some fantastic documentaries and doesn't seem to take herself too seriously.

As much as I think Linda Robson adds nothing to the programme, I feel sorry for her a bit. She is well paid, so no sorrow for her there, but the producers love the fact she is ill educated and stupid. They have pushed her into a position of being a loveable idiot, willing to debase herself (she probably doesn’t realise she is debasing herself) to keep her place on the panel. They seem to push her into saying stuff about her alcoholism/breakdown. They did it today. It is the only time she looks uncomfortable and self aware. She has also earned coin from it herself by writing about it in her book, but it just seems contrived and shoehorned into a discussion when they bring it up yet again on the panel. (She mentioned she was a National Treasure again.)
Sherrie Hewson was the previous lovable idiot, they seem to want a daft old bint on the rota to laugh at in a benign way. I think Sherrie was let go around the same time as Lisa Maxwell and when they offered Jane McDonald one show a month - when they were trying unsuccessfully to make the programme more serious - which failed as an editorial decision. I just don’t like the way there must always be an older woman around to patronise.

I really like her too - she's a grafter and she's not full of crap. They showed a picture of Olivia from when she was at school and Linda said “that’s what you really look like”. Love or hate Olivia but that was nasty to embarrass her on national tv like that
I don't know if that would embarrass her though...she's often showed pictures of her school days, etc. I didn't see the picture so perhaps it was a really bad one or something, but I reaaly feel like she seems pretty honest and happy to own how she was, what work she's had done, etc. She def doesn't embarrass easily.

No, she let Linda know that she knew it was a bit of a dig, but she took it on the chin. She also got her own back when they showed a photo of Linda and Olivia said “oh wow, same haircut I see”

Just watched it on catch up @amber.gl19 Linda Robson repulses me. She had no need to do that flashing business, just playing up to the Idiot Linda persona. I found it quite an interesting show. It was 60 years and older for those who didn’t watch. So, it was Ruth, Linda, Denise and Kaye. I am guessing Jane would have been on the panel if it wasn’t for her refusal to sign the contract. Linda is not a good example of that demographic.
