The thing is, until recently Halloween was just another day. People didn’t “celebrate” it in the same way, it was something that came over from the US, the trick or treating and the decs etc. Our thing used to be Bonfire Night, which still happens, so they can participate in that. I am not a Christian so have no adverse feelings about it other than it is just another thing that has become massively commercialised and all about spending money. If I were a Christian I could see why people would not want to participate.
 
Was todays episode prerecorded? Christine was on Lorraine this morning, it’s not often her or Ruth work two shows in the morning?

They made a joke on this morning about how she was book-ending so not sure it is a pre-record. But very unusual. Perhaps struggling with cover in half term

Makes sense now considering Colleen was on yesterday. I know she anchors sometimes but not often and rarely the beginning of the week

Its live as she spoke to Holly & Phil when she was on Lorraine and in turn H&P spoke to Christine when she was on Loose Women.

All the ITV Daytime shows: GMB, Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women are recorded in the same building so Christine just hung around

To be fair I've got the givr her this one. Lots of people don't celebrate Halloween due to their faith. Let's not rip her for that.
 
I adore Miriam Margolyes, what a legend! :)
She should be made a permanent guest panelist.
Out with that bore that is Paris Fury hopefully she won#t return to the show after yet another maternity leave and Mrs. Stewart .

Yes and I don’t think she’s naturally an anchor as she’s said before, so only covers if no one else
 
Linda is really offensive.

I don’t find her amusing, charismatic or useful.

I don’t understand why she is on the panel at all.

she makes zero effort & has very basic language.
 
Was this ITV News special programme planned?! I noticed Loose Women wasn’t on but I didn’t realise they cut This Morning short too?!
 
Linda's the embarrassing black sheep Auntie that we had as kids. Wheeled out once a year at weddings and funerals, smells of poo, permanently pissed and full of inarticulate phrases such as 'you r ooking gd bab'. The type the family tried to pretend didn't exist and hoped contact with them would be minimum.
