Influencer Lizzy isn’t faring well, is she? Lizzy’s being kept afloat by fast fashion brands take the JCrew and Mango ads away and she’s left with barely anything. I don’t think Lizzy has the integrity to quit though and I’ve always thought she’ll hang on until influencing is no long financially viable. Lizzy is where she is because of the inheritance, it has always subsidised her lifestyle, and I think her longevity as an influencer really does depend on how much of it she has left.
The longevity of NY will most likely be down to the inheritance too. Going from what Lizzy’s posted on IG she left NY around the November 23rd and has only spent three weeks there since. Her rent on that apartment is around £3k a month, so Elizabeth’s literally paid £3k for every week she’s spent in the NY apartment since November - that’s bonkers even by Lizzy’s standards. Especially when you consider the reason behind it was Joanna spending those three months in Australia.
In a way I think New York is bittersweet for Lizzy. She probably wanted the apartment because Linda had an apartment in Portugal but by the time Lizzy’s US visa came through and she got the apartment Linda was already moving back to London. Lizzy must live for the dopamine rush she gets from copying people and the inheritance has always given her the means to facilitate it. What’s the point of it now? She goes to NY to be Joanna’s shadow and skulk around for a few weeks at a time. Was it all worth it because a guy in a coffee shop let her take a cup away?

Started the year in London, end of January she went to New York for literally a day or two.
Went to Mexico for around two weeks gate crashed Linda’s solo surfing trip, had food poisoning and predictably used it as an excuse to do nothing there once Linda left.
Went back to New York for the rest of February, around three weeks.
Back to London around March 2nd.
Linda also had food poisoning in Mexico and then she had it again in Portugal, twice in one month. Who on earth follows her and thinks Marnie Rays is a good idea?
I guess all the countries, be it Mexico, Portugal or the USA, are the same to those influencers, they just want a pretty picture of themselves in the skimpiest clothing possible.
