Yep. They don’t want to get it. If they did, they’d have to acknowledge the racism and racist micro aggressions that are endemic in our society, and perhaps even carried out by themselves.

It’s easier to pretend that they don’t get it, and shout bollocks like “Are white people not allowed to plait their hair or use fake tan anymore???”

Which is totally missing the point, obvs.
 
I’ve always felt like there’s so much more to the story on how Jesy left LM. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was actually quite dramatic (and not as amicable as they’ve made out) and they’ve created a cover story but Jesy decided to run her mouth so much afterwards talking about how tit she felt for 10 years etc etc. I don’t think the other girls expected her to be so vocal and maybe they weren’t even aware of most of it and probably feel so betrayed and sad that Jesy didn’t open up to them and actually felt so much resentment towards them (all the comments she’s made about the other girls being skinny etc) to the point it seems like Jesy is blaming them.

Not to mention having to hear her say things like ~I can’t explain it, there just has to be distance right now since we were so close~ when in reality she blocked them from her life and couldn’t even tell them directly she was leaving the group after all those years. It’s so disrespectful and cruel. It must be maddening to have her do such mean things then continue to falsely and loudly control the narrative… then after all that for Leigh Anne to watch her paint herself dark and do a Bad Boyz ripoff while saying she’d never heard this criticism before, whew it’s just the added insult and must feel very painful… it’s no wonder Leigh Anne sent that DM. Then she gets attacked for it and the Little Mix machine doesn’t even stand up for her. Leigh Anne should’ve been the one to leave tbh.

This definitely is, The Sun is known to be their go-to for insider info. This does shock me at all, I remember at the time analysing that the girls didn't like her leaving post and all.

She really and truly did them so dirty at the start of a new album cycle.
