Also surely someone working /owning an insurance firm would have insured herself fully comp (i e cover cost of repairs even if her own fault) and no claims bonus protection.

I think she’s gone too far with the boasting about the million-I’d say she’s turned loyal followers and she’s now trying to claw them back with a sympathy story
