I reckon she has to return them...they don't necessarily let her keep them anymoreWell the one she wore for her 50th did absolutely nothing for her, she looked ridiculous in it.

WELL DONE YOUI do like good clothes. Do like the look of some of Roisins bits in Kildare but refusing to be influenced by LLL. I am on lookout for black friday deals and am getting fond of buying preloved but unlike LLL I make sure to get the wear out of mine. In the last five years I've really bought into the concept of a capsule wardrobe were you limit what you have but it works inter dependently. I am not mindlessly spending or getting into a frenzy. I already know what I have to get me over whatever turns up over Christmas but I feel so much better not having a wardrobe overflowing with fast fashion never worn and its pretty organised so I can go in and put my hands on something quickly. Living the life of a carer mum its nice to be able to have order in something ;-) The rest of the house is gone to pot.
Am also delighted with myself, I have lost 40+ lbs this year and a fav coat bought 12 years ago now fits again. I do get emotionally attached to some pieces so they have been breaking the rules waiting for me to get back into. Its technically not in fashion but pretty ageless and so no need for any coat this year. Anything good that I have gotten out of is sold.donated.or passed onto friends for future wears. Herself must have a wardrobe full of items that could get her out of next week but no she needs the instant gratification of spending/receiving shamelessly begging and adding to clutter. She has no USP at the moment.
I also can't see born happy with her advertising a coat from another boutique in their 'landing' slot either.
thank you. Still not a size 10 or ever will be for reference but needed to drop some for health and feeling good,WELL DONE YOU
Well done on weight loss , need to loose about 2 stone myself for health reasons . A lot automatically assume when you say you want/need to be slimmer that you are not happy with your body/looks. I for one feel better when slimmer , my doc advised 1 to 2 stone shedding , BP and knee would benefit . Great feeling though when you get back into your fav piecesthank you. I'm not going to lie but I've used Ozempic. Its been a game changer in actually getting weight down. Consultant suggested it to me. Not cheap but tbh I've probably spent more on stupid attempts at loosing weight over the years or slimming clubs. His approach to obesity was very different to the norm eat less move more. He feels advocates obesity as a disease and people need more medical help. Before this I had been considering surgery, bands etc in frustration. My bmi (not an ideal measurement but using for information) was 33.3 and now its 26.2. My gp referred me to him as thyroid and hormones were all over the place. My own fam have a hard history of heart/strokes and I owe it to a relatively young family to be healthy. I have always walked alot when kids are in school and now go to a pt for training. I am probably peri menopausal too but alot of symptoms have evaporated with the weight. I've been on hols and away for a weekend during this time and not had any major issues, slow and consistent losses.Well done on weight loss , need to loose about 2 stone myself for health reasons . If you went in her wardrobes I doubt there would be any Born dresses , all high end designer... Expensive does not always mean better quality . A lot like her around just like to be seen in certain brands to basically say ‘I have arrived’ or ‘look at my expensive coat dress whatever’ most have the ‘made in China’ label on them The first things I check are price , fabric content, cut/style and these days comfort , good fabrics , a thrifty shopper who knows a trade prices, mark ups etc . buy to suit not follow trends.. Outlet village shopping in the UK are great , you get you high street outlet stores like Next etc one side and your designers on the other , mind you not as many bargains to be found these days.
Was she not caught out selling her gifted pieces a while back then claimed it was the son doing it ?? Was it on Depot ?? Vinted seems to sell cheaper label like Primark.
No matter what she wears it won’t change that hard long face dragged down by the same old boring style black lanky mane , Same boring styles. Wear midi with sandals and denim jacket for Sumer, wear it for winter teamed with black biker jacket, and boots from the 90’s . Boringgghhhh How are the sheep not getting sick of it .
Ahhh bless her, mammy said she should look after herself . Are they for real!! Gets everything free , lotions, potions, procedures, beauty/hair and he cooks. Bet she even has a cleaner in.. not as if she packs, posts products etc. A few posts each day, talks hyper into the phone, sends herself messages . She Looks hungover to me .
Yes...that rings a bell...but I bet she managed to sell a lot of them.....she had loads of jumpsuits from MMC which are no longer to be seen or any of her Elaine de Róiste neckpieces.....she also had a lot of Phoenix V clothes and Shauna Faye....be easy to sell these on second hand without doing it onlineWell done on weight loss , need to loose about 2 stone myself for health reasons . Yes I remember Y style doing that too...yes MMC knows a friend of mine....Id say Lisas ears will be burned to a crispShe said D was doing it on Depop for pocket money. Y style had a similar scandal selling gifted goods. Phoenix V is very expensive (for items tailored in Singapore/China). Shauna Faye and herself fell out years ago. MMC is a lovely lady to deal with. Must make my way down for a bit of gossip!
Marion Cooney Murphy she used to get clothes from her when she started first, think there was a falling outSorry but can I ask who is mmc? Maybe a stupid question but I’m lost! Thanks
Marian Murphy Cooney....she is a designer and her shop is based in Nenagh I think....she was a "bestie" of Lisas and she gave Lisa loads of clothes....but naturally she got fed up of her greedy grabby ways....Michelle up the Lane shows her clothes nowSorry but can I ask who is mmc? Maybe a stupid question but I’m lost! Thanks
They were such good ‘friends’ they did a week in Dubai together to choose the Dubai Rose of Tralee entrant! I think it was when there MMC told Lisa to get her leaky bladder investigated.Marian Murphy Cooney....she is a designer and her shop is based in Nenagh I think....she was a "bestie" of Lisas and she gave Lisa loads of clothes....but naturally she got fed up of her greedy grabby ways....Michelle up the Lane shows her clothes now
No one, only Lisa. What happened to her previous PT who use to call to the house for socially distancing sessions in the garden?Who actually give a fcuk about her gym sessions.
Oh yeah it was a lady wasn’t it? Another fall out?!No one, only Lisa. What happened to her previous PT who use to call to the house for socially distancing sessions in the garden?
Never heard of Ozempic ,must Google it later . I k ow in my case it’s a waste of time starting any weight loss in the winter , most depressing season ever .. Spring ,hopefully get some motivation .I'm not going to lie but I've used Ozempic. Its been a game changer in actually getting weight down. Consultant suggested it to me. Sorry to derail and hope I've not offended anyone by detailing a medical option - I know its a contentious issue with people viewing it as a short cut.
Alot of your posts educated me in how I shop at the moment. Kildare Village was better in earlier days - you had Karen Millen; Coast; Monsoon. Now its all brands which is great for accessories or shoes. Clothes wise its not plus size at all but I have my few key boutiques that if they can order in for me if at all possible. I'm completely allergic to blogger backed clothes now. Gails Rails leggings is a real eye opener as well as LLL poly crap
SandraOh yeah it was a lady wasn’t it? Another fall out?!
Remember the time she showed Sandra’s legs and told her she could do with some tan on them! Such a friend!Sandra
