I don't listen to their podcasts. But it irritates TF out of me when woman in this day and age are clueless about ovulation and pregnancy. Honestly, I'm older than this pair of idiots, and I know more than these two put together, but seriously the amount of advice and knowledge out there is amazing. And this pair of numpties have the cheek to call themselves influencers. What a joke. :rolleyes:
 
I mean to be honest I don’t remember learning much about sex and pregnancy in high school. I really don’t think we a) were taught very well or b) I was a bit too young in my teens to retain it or c) a bit of both. BUT I have since educated myself on periods, sex, pregnancy etc since my teens as I think that’s just normal? I don’t understand how women by the time they’re are Lily’s and Anna’s ages (I’ve actually no idea how old Anna is lol!) know so little about how their bodies work? I’ve had no end of women‘s troubles over the years aswell which means I obviously had to know what my body was doing and why it was doing it. There’s a lack of education and just plain ignorance and I think we all know which one Lily and Anna are. It’s not just down to your school education to teach you about a females body, it’s also down to you, as women.

I don't think my school sex education was particularly great (didn't even get to put a condom on a banana!) but I understand the premise behind periods, and why they come and what that means. Surely, at a basic level, they understand how that relates to getting pregnant?!

I got pregnant very easily, with no real focus on ovulation dates, but even I downloaded an app that tracked my periods and recommended the best dates to 'try'. I don't believe that they could BOTH be that clueless.

Yes, my memory of biology is very hazy too but a quick Google and use of apps to track my period post-pill helped to suss things out. It's really not that hard to figure out - once again proves Lily's shocking laziness.

I learnt about it watching a Louise Pentland video lol. There are definitely problems with sex ed in the UK and I won't pretend that there aren't, but these two are just painfully ignorant about these things. It's not hard to educate yourself on these issues and talk about them in a mature way.
 
You’d be surprised how many women are clueless about these things. I was listening to a podcast where the host talked about her having trouble with conceiving. She and her husband had no idea about ovulation so they were just having unprotected sex here and there. After a year of trying they saw a fertility specialist who told them about the right timing. And boom, they got pregnant on their first try. (This was in Finland btw, where they definitely teach kids about these things in biology.)

I partly blame films and TV shows where all unprotected sex seems to lead to a pregnancy. But even if you don‘t remember these things from school, surely you would look them up when they you start having sex?
 
Sorry if this has already been discussed, I am behind! This is on my suggested page today. It’s very bizarre that she doesn’t give enough of a tit about her job to brush her hair. I had twins around the same time as she had Grey and I still manage to make myself look half polished for work.

I have just watched Lily's latest vlog, my observations:

Lily is fishing for a company to gift her new carpeting throughout the house, she WENT ON AND ON ABOUT THE CARPET and how she picked a grey carpet because all her friends had grey carpets. :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
Lily doesn't know where she will be able to work from when she has another child - read the room Lily half of the UK has been working from home and doesn't have a home office.
As many of you have said, Gleam have clearly told he she needs to find a niche for herself. Anna is the organiser, Ruth is the mom..Lily is trying to become the beauty/fashion industry crusader and it seems so disingenuous because let's face it Lily didn't care about what models looked like pre baby. But now that she has put on weight and feels insecure she notices all the size 8 models with perfect skin and no moles.
 
Many of you mentioned about her podcast, listening to like 5min and turned it off. Lily of course has to say OMG women only fertile for 3 days whilst men are like every day - she likes to bring up the topic men vs women and how women are being disadvantaged, but she always pick the topic that is so trivial and irrelevant. If she wants to be a social justice crusade then pick a topic that is relevant such as pay gap etc.

They didn’t know about ovulation lol. Don’t blame the school because surely those trashy magazine that they often read touch on topic like this. They have no excuses, they are living in the god damn UK and living off the internet

I always wondered about this side of things. I'm a couple of years younger than Lily, recently married and thinking about starting a family in the next couple of years. I like to think I'm fairly clued up about the processes of fertility, conception etc but I have to admit that Lily making a huge deal out of it taking 'forever' (ie six/seven months) to fall pregnant, how hard it was getting used to her body coming off the Pill etc really worried me, it made me think that it couldn't be as simple as I had thought it was. It's only when I downloaded an app that I saw how straightforward it was to understand. I can't believe she wouldn't think to do the same but there we have it. Concerning that she has such influence on subjects she's clearly not informed about, for people who aren't informed either and looking to her for advice, it's not great!
 
And it's one thing for her not to be informed, but why not do a quick little Google before you talk about this subject on your vlog, podcast, IG, whatever. Instead, she's just spreading this nonsense, and then blaming her school. You're 30! You've grown up having the internet. It's not as if you had to hide in a corner of the library to look through books hoping nobody would spot you.

I’ve not watched it, but they had a baby last year and I’m pretty sure no one likes each other when they have a young baby. Especially during lockdown. Especially if you both work from home. ESPECIALLY IF ONE OF YOU IS LAZY AND CONSTANTLY UNDERMINING THE OTHER.
That didnt turn into me ranting about my husband, nope, not at all...🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️
