😱 my friend lives up North (in England) and was looking at a 4 bed for £90,000. Couldn’t bring myself to tell her how much we’d spent on ours for half the size!

We couldn’t even get a 1 bed when we were looking for the price of the 8 bed...

that's pretty cheap even for "up north" houses round my way are more £350 - 400K for a 4 bed - if not more. Yes there are places where you can buy cheaper but they're not necessarily (I'm struggling to say this nicely and not sound snobby and i'm not a snob (I hope) ) places you would want to buy or in the best repair.

Does anybody else get the impression that Lily may have only gone to university to find a husband?

Just something I found myself pondering on when somebody posted those photos of her looking super young at freshers week, wearing her hair in its natural curls. And Rich was already there, in the background, and presumably has been ever since.

We already know that Lily did not value her education, as she’s admitted that she never worked hard at school (despite her parents paying tens of thousands for private school), and her general lack of ability to use written expression and grammar. And I don’t think she’d already started her blog before she went to university, had she? So, she obviously wasn’t aiming to get a marketing degree to enhance her existing skills in the online arena. She also doesn’t seem to understand that education is a lifelong pursuit, hence her “biggest regret” being dropping history and geography, when she could just pick up a book and study that now.

I suppose there’s always the chance that she just went to uni for the life experience, and because it’s what people in her circle do, but I wonder if, maybe even sub-consciously, her aim in her mind was that this would be a useful place to find a man. I’ve wondered the same thing about Anna, too, especially since a poster pointed out on her thread that apparently she had said to another fresher, “That one is mine,” when she met Mark.
I was surprised Anna said that about mark 😂 doesn’t seem to have it in her.

four beds round my area go for 400k+.

go to hale, altrincham or Bowden and you could be paying 800k for a 4 bed semi lol. Then a million for a bigger detached house. But go over to Rochdale or Oldham and I’m sure you could buy a 3 bed terrace for 125k. Up north isn’t cheap, it just depends where you live,

It’s pretty cheap for our area, when we first moved in we were paying 4 times the op’s...

Do you rent more in CA?

My friend bought a flat in London. When he sold it, his equity alone could have bought him an amazing house here, never mind how much he could have got for a mortgage etc. I think they’ll keep buying and selling for profit and then eventually will buy a large house here in cash 😬

A house of Lily’s size would definitely be £150,000 or thereabouts around here. Though, we don’t have many period properties so that would be a new build.

Dirty Pebbles and more content that nobody asked for. This time, her face mask covered in foundation after a trip to the shopping centre.

Lily just keeping it “relatable” for everyone.

And as a bonus she shares her groundbreaking thoughts on face ID and mask wearing.

Still blaming that one lipstick....I’m no beauty blogger but she didn’t put it on her eye

Funny how she never mentioned this is her video - just her moles and teeth which let’s be honest, she just wants the mole test and teeth done for free

I have had eczema developing on my lips for no apparent reason. Didn’t completeply disappear even when I stopped wearing any makeup and only used special eczema moisturiser around my lips. Then just disappearEd in three months time.

eczema is very difficult to get rid of and it can be triggered by anything. On my legs it’s triggered by man made fabrics, on my hands by pretty much anything including Water so I am loving life now. I can relate to Lily and I feel very sorry for her.

Having the eczema must be awful for her, but I always feel weird when she posts about how it was her wedding makeup that caused it, when she made such a huge fuss and a song and dance about Sam Chapman doing her wedding makeup. I feel like she tries to point out that it's not specifically Sam's fault (like when she says it's a lipstick she personally chose etc.) but she says so often that this was 100% the specific cause that it does feel a bit passive aggressive. I'm sure Sam, like any professional MUA, would be mortified at being associated with someone developing something like that after their work, let alone when that person has a huge platform. I don't know, it just feels a bit diggy to continually point out that her wedding makeup was the root cause.

I got eczema on my eyes and went to the doctor as it was really painful and mine was a hormone thing.... if she came off the pill then or had changed that’s what it could be, if she wasn't getting anything back allergies wise why didn’t she just go to her doctors?

Completely agree. Surely she would have tried out the lipstick beforehand? Just seems so strange to pinpoint it to that particular product on that exact day.

Exactly! I had a newly-qualified MUA do my wedding makeup (I was her first bridal client) and she insisted on two trials beforehand to check the makeup for all sorts of possible outcomes, and that I choose and use my own lipstick on the day. So I can't believe that someone like Sam wouldn't do trials and a literal beauty blogger wouldn't try out the chosen lipstick first?

Give me a break, she got married 3/4 years ago and she did not give her lips a break. Never...even at her worst, she still used lipsticks. Don’t know why is she seeking for sympathy now, is the greed.

She is so nasty too, finally a dermatologist that doesn’t just say stay away from make up, implying that the rest are tit.Like she says before, it was the lock down and not going out helps her...which is which

Totally 100% agree - Sam must be mortified! It wasn’t the lipstick Lily - GET OVER IT. And I do not believe for one second that she lost work over it.

If Lily refuses to take the advice from professionals by not using makeup or skincare products, that is her problem, nobody else’s. I am sure we will soon see “why don’t brands include models with eczema in their marketing”. YAWN

I can't remember who did her make up... Was it Sam, as in Sam Chapman of Pixiwoo?

So true, surely you would have done a few trials runs of the make up before the big day?!? Not just slap it all on the morning of and hope for the best, that really doesn't make sense!!!
Don't know if anyone here watches Girls but now I am having visions of Marnie and her make up on her wedding day

Yes, the very same. She made a huge fuss about how amazing it was to get Sam and then hasn't stopped mentioning the eczema since....
I am sure Sam would be pleased, that is if she cared. I don't think she occupies herself thinking about these things though. But it's still pretty low of Lily to say these things and also, as people pointed out, she has used multiple lipsticks since! (She was only putting on the Pixiwoo's MAC lipstick on in yesterday IG Stories 🤯)

Sorry - do appreciate it is awful, it’s just the ways she goes about things
