Guyssss… you don’t get it. Getting your nails done is WORK in Lilyland. It counts as half a work day, and a whole one if you can squeeze in a shot of your lunch at Seven Dials Market. As it’s her time off now, she couldn’t possibly.

Lily, stop complaining about your children! It's not cute, it's not funny, it just makes you look a reluctant parent. The internet is forever, how will your kids feel if they ever see posts like this??
They will only be this small for a very short time. You blink and they'll be mopey teenagers (some never grow out of that phase...) who will not want to do anything with you. They are happy and healthy. You have no idea how lucky you are, as you take it all for granted. It's not a good look.

And beside that, count yourself bloody lucky you don't have a job to rush back to, and worry about day care or babysitters, and that you are in a comfortable financial position that you can take your kids on all kinds of fun trips or days out during their school holidays.

But please.. STOP MOANING ABOUT YOUR KIDS!!

Funny how the only somewhat private thing Anna says these days is also about celebrating those child-free moments and vacations. With Lily I know she actually means that, because she still yearns for the time when she was the baby of her family. With Anna, I think she believes it makes her seem relatable to other mothers. Spot on. Lily also does it in a desperate attempt to sound relatable, the wink wink nudge nudge, don't we all feel like that as parents, blah blah... but she means it. Anna seems to enjoy motherhood a lot more, and so needs to up the 'us mums have it so hard' posts every now and then.

I was wondering that. I go back to work (school) on Thursday Then I wondered if she’s including today and next weekend (because she’s weird), and they go back the following week?!

My school didn’t break up until the 22nd and we go back the 9th whereas a few other schools in the borough go back Tuesday (2nd) as they broke up earlier.
I assume she’s 1 of the lucky schools that have the extra few days off like we do and goes back on the 9th, so on this occasion I don’t think it’s her poor mathematics it’s how the dates have fallen.

I would assume so, if Grey goes back on the 9th then I count it as 9days (inc weekends) as it’s the 1st tomo.
Then again it could be all that special London air I’m sharing with old lazy poobles that has us thinking the same thing (scary thought)
