So she’s having an identity crisis 5 weeks into her new 5 (or 4!) pillar identity?? Her identity can’t be solely about content pillars and the behind the scenes of content making. She needs an actual personality and her content would organically flow from there. However, she really isn’t cool, interesting, stylish or smart enough to succeed at this point in her career. She really should stop trying to make this work and move on to something that is more fulfilling before her influencer career dies a painful and embarrassing death.

It gets worse, she glitches during the list of pillars…. So what did she say that wasn’t food that she then obviously cut out? And why didn’t she just refilm it? Urgh.

Comments boost TikTok visibility. The more she "builds an audience" (lmao) and asks for people's opinion, the more the algorithm is on her side. It has absolutely nothing to do with her caring about her fans.

I assume she's looking for the answer "keep doing everything, we love you Lily". Lily's had years to find her niche and - like that one person aptly pointed out - she has all the tools available to find one. And still, she's refused to drop down the "a bit of everything" lifestyle content à la 2014. The reason for this is that she wants to keep receiving all the freebies from all the brands.

I bet her management has told her to find a niche and the whole point of this experiment is to show that her fans love her content as it is. And I'm sure they do, but the whole point of marketing is to find new audiences, not just cater to existing ones. I guess the marketing PRO Lily missed that at university.

It’s exactly that. Lily expects just her life to be enough. She wants to carry on spending her ‘work days’ going to the shops and getting her nails done, whilst also getting freebies for her home and kids, and free holidays/meals/events and anything else that gets thrown her way. Can’t be limiting yourself.

I think she’s due for a pretty major life crisis in the next few years. She seems like one of those classic people who is always looking out for the next thing and ‘then il feel fulfilled and happy’. When actually none of them work if you’re just not happy or content in yourself on the first place. All of a sudden you’re in your late thirties with two kids, a marriage that is fine and all the random material stuff a person can imagine but your whole life is built around the constant consumption of material goods and you’re bored out of your brain.

This is what I don’t understand either. Why box yourself in to 4/5 topics on an app that awards trends?

But in all serious, just do what fucking makes you happy (I know that’s like 3 things and could get boring). TikTok is a great place to experiment, so just make videos you enjoy making instead of dumb shit because it fits into a pillar.

She just HAS to say "for reminding me about..." to reinforce the fact that she is in fact a London Mum who knows about everything London. Can't teach her anything new about her home turf, thank you very much.

Despite apparently knowing about it, she happens to only decide to visit straight after Liv does. Something tells me she spied an opportunity to make some juicy new ✨ London Pillar Content ✨ without having to venture far from her beloved Kings Cross. :rolleyes:
