I was just thinking something like this. She’s the kind of person who wants a dog because she grew up with a family dog - not realising that, although they are lovely, they require a lot of work (work/care her parents did.)

She seems to be like this in a lot of areas of her life- never matured beyond late teens / uni student level and is constantly surprised at how much work adult life takes.

I think being an influencer must create a coddled little bubble that extends this usually temporary phase of life - easy, lack of responsibility etc.

She’s the eternal uni student.

Imagine all of the ‘nobody told me’ posts she can make about divorce and then dating… nobody told me you have to decide who gets what. Nobody told me that you have to agree on custody of the kids. Nobody told me that I’d have to pay a lawyer to help me. Nobody told me that rich gets half of MY money. Nobody told me that on tinder you actually have to swipe on people. Nobody told me that dating means leaving the house AND getting the tube. Nobody told me that there was single men in the south of London and they show on my tinder here in the north.

I could go on forever…

She is an awful friend. She can’t even pay to support her ‘mate’. If she is such a good mate and she even wrote a bleeping book about it, she would have paid for it. And perhaps promote it on her social.
 
I really can’t see her and Rich lasting to be honest. To the outside perspective it’s like he’s been worn down and down and totally taken for granted by Lily. She seems to put no effort into the relationship and just assumes he’ll stick it out now they’ve got kids.

I think it’s too much effort & work for them to get divorced so they will just continue to be together as companions, co-parents, roommates etc (assuming “things are over” but honestly it’s hard for us to tell from the outside really)

Sounds like muslim girls who think just because theyve been with someone for a certain amount of time or have kids that they are stuck for life. Many many I have known during my uni days and got married around 22-28 have all divorced snd the girls shocked like shocked that the men have left- Im a muslim so I know what its like in this community and a LOT of women behave like Lily, thinking they have the marriage and kids and he will never leave, then life teaches them and they are shocked with nobody told me
