I liked the shelves as they left the room feeling more spacious. I posted before Lily had the work done that she should have had it done in the other alcove.

If she had done that and had similar doors to the ones on the cupboard that was there before (and not painted it slime green) it would have looked so much better!

Lily’s shelves is actually the thing I liked the most, it is the only Victorian looking thing in her home. As I said earlier, her house is like a time travel capsule.
 
I’m no fan of Zoella’s, but her interiors are kind of funky, and the nursery is really nice and fresh. Lily’s blatant copying of Zoella’s reel* is so sad, especially when they’re both with Gleam.

Lily’s house is such a mish mash; whoever buys it will be in for a treat 🤣

*and I know everyone copies everyone else’s reels - one reason why I hate them!
 
Zoe’s nursery is so nice! I’ve seen some people on her tattle page complain about the wallpaper but I really like it for a child’s room. It’s bright and colourful yet still fresh and original.
Lily’s however…I mean where to start? She gets it SO wrong. I also think she’s so dumb to not work with an interior designer, when you make so many changes to your house so often it’s really a good idea since a good designer will make sure all the rooms tie in with each other. But Lily is too smug for that and as a result her home looks a mess. She was always mocking the previous designers for their “crazy” design choices but Lily’s are really no better

I know. They were complaining about the egg and bacon wallpaper lol, I was like have you seen Lily’s? I don’t think is common to use interior designer for the size of her house but the problem with Lily is that she is such a trend bleep and she loves FREE stuff. Her house is a mitmatch Pinterest board, someone mentioned that her bedroom is essentially a HM showroom, that couldn’t be more accurate.

There are muted, sophisticated colours and then just plain drab, depressing and dismal ones. Lily chose the latter. Has anyone watched Motel Makeover on Netflix? It reminded me of what Lily has been trying to achieve blush pink, funny beige and yellow tones but they actually pull it off.
 
Zoe's nursery is really cute and the contrast between the two reels is sad. Lily could've spent a bit more effort on completing Grey's room for a toddler room makeover, which would've had a bigger impact in the reveal, but she needed to show off her green garden shed wardrobes immediately.
 
This "painting the whole room isn't a priority thing"...Why? How?

So obvious that she is waiting for/working on some bigger partnership with a paint/furniture brand...or that she was advised that it's not a good look/relatable to redo 2 rooms in such quick timescales whilst also doing the loft.

It's all just excuses and actually offensive to full-time working parents who don't have the money or support they do to get the stuff that needs done done.

Also no idea why she felt the need to follow up with how she couldn’t get a paint sample of the current colour in the right finish with a photo of the tin. Beyond dull. She is only posting for the attention of paint brands at this point. Poor Grey and that dreary room with a green shed in the corner. Zoe’s nursery isn’t flawless but at least it’s has some joy.

I hadn’t even realised the room was such an ugly colour until today. It’s like a browny beige colour. Poor child!
 
Alex stedman an be annoying sometimes, she raised money for charity. Meanwhile Lily is spending her days pondering about floors and paint. It must be karma that her house and face looks crap
