A new thread for our beloved Lily Pebbles, the influencer who turns us off products and brands...
"The Unfluencer" was my suggestion, neck and neck with Little Bluebird's "So boring no one wants to think of a thread title" (both suggestions got 43 likes)
Anyone want to attempt a recap of thread #26?

@Liptastic omg yes, I saw that too. The funny thing is that people actually think it looks nice. I actually posted the same picture in one of the threads here!

The people at the planning office needs to be sacked. They also replaced the front door with such a modern / awful one. Honestly they should just buy a new build.

Funny thing, I asked my husband what he thinks of this before and after. He thinks the after is better, I almost dump him.

I am actually surprised. From what I gathered the UK has pretty strictly guidelines around the exterior look of houses. Even the new builds cannot look like whatever. Maybe it has eased up?

Only in conservation areas, in most areas you can do almost whatever you want depending on the corruption level of your local planning office. Recently the law has been changed to allow more permitted development, this is when you don't need to ask for planning permission to make a lot of various alterations to the property too. Properties like Jojo's are not protected anyway as it's not a period property and doesn't have significant historic value. At least not yet.

It was maybe discussed in the last thread but her reel about how she’s taking care of her damaged hair… she obviously straightens her hair before putting it in the ‘protective hairstyle’ …….so what’s the point? Except to get that sponsored dollers. I used to do my hair like that quite a lot but she’s really put me off it 😂😂

So her begging for the paint that wasn’t in stock paid off 😅😅 she got the lick paint for the wardrobe kindly gifted, what a joke

The new wardrobe looks like it belongs in a cottage not a renovated Victorian terrace. It looks like she has a different theme for each room and it’s so jarring. I think the shelves and cupboards before look so much nicer, would have looked nicer too to have kept where the single cupboard is as shelving for books etc and made the space less blocky and imposing. Or to just quit with all of the built in furniture and get some free standing, she’ll be having her sofa and bed built into the wall next

That wardrobe is so bulky! It's the first thing you see when opening the door. Its really oppressive and makes the room look smaller.

I liked the shelves as they left the room feeling more spacious. I posted before Lily had the work done that she should have had it done in the other alcove.

If she had done that and had similar doors to the ones on the cupboard that was there before (and not painted it slime green) it would have looked so much better!
