They are so stuck in their early to mid twenties. Neither have progressed emotionally from this point, the years have ticked over but they haven’t grown as humans at all.

I hope these yokels realize one day that their audience has outgrown them while they stay the same “age” & maturity. They’ll be 45 year old women with 18-24 year olds following their content aimed at 18-24 year olds . (Nothing wrong AT ALL with 45 year old women, of course)

It will be a miracle if they can attract a younger audience at that point, I’m 30 and they already seem so out of touch with the youth market! ( ps I’m definitely not considering myself a ‘youth’ but I’m a sixth form teacher, so am around the younger lot a great deal )

I am really interested to know what their audience demographic is, is it 25+, 30+ or younger? Because if their audience is in their 30s then the content should really reflect that and they need to drop this uni act.

I’m 34 and am a university lecturer and their content is absolutely not for me, and I don’t see how my students would be interested either. I think my students would say “Mrs. LittleBluebird, they’re so cringe” and then move on. But with all of their university and wedding talk, who is their demographic?

Really?! If anything that makes it creepier to me.

I didn’t know so creepy

Me sitting here waiting for the kind soul to feedback about the podcast
Hahhahahaa

Apologies, didn’t know the GIF comes with middle finger. Sorry!!!!

did anyone listen to it

Lily said she doesn't understand why people make a big fuss about birthday because people should buy present for the mother who gone through the labour process, rather than the kid.

Ie. Grey birthday = her birthday

God, she’s insufferable. YOUR CHILD IS YOUR GIFT YOU twit.

I think I started watching Lily/Anna in my mid-late 20s and they were fun to watch. I’ve always been a bit of an Anglophile and between the blogs and the makeup, it was enough. I was living in the US at the time, so hearing about British makeup brands was great (my parents love London, so every time they visited, I would give them my Boots shopping list 🤣). I started to get really annoyed by their content right after Lily’s wedding. I feel like her true colors started to show - the moaning and everything being annoying - and Anna’s content just became more and more noticeably repetitive. I also think the fact both of them got book deals was the nail in the coffin and just thinking, “these two numpties got book deals?!?”

She is seeing it as Grey’s honour to have her as mother. I hope she doesn’t use the labour story as a leverage to control Grey when she is older when Grey decided to rent a place with her boyfriend or move out from their basement

I find it really strange that Lily constantly refers to things as being 'perfect'. In her Q&A she talks about never having 'perfect' teeth. Whenever she is looking to buy something she talks about it being 'perfect' or 'it's not perfect'. What does perfect even look like to her? Is it just because she has a limited vocabulary or because she has this distorted image of her life needed to be 'perfect' because of social media/a bizarre misconception that she is some sort of perfectionist.

Her loft really isn't going to add the value that she thinks it will. Girl needs to take a deep breath and reassess why she's doing all this work?

CompIaining about her hair again. Honestly she just needs to embrace her volume and the way it curls whilst her hair recovers and lay off the heat. Her excuse is that she’s an influencer and has to show her hair online everyday. Can’t she see this would be popular content? Her journey back to hair health, and exploring ways to style it on her journey. She can do so much with clips and plating it etc that would look nice if she doesn’t want to wear it all down. She just needs to work with the texture and style it out 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m a bit tired of her “I’m on camera all day so I can’t have bad hair” spiel. I’m on camera teaching all day. In May or last year I noticed that my pin straight hair started developing a curl in some places, like ringlets, and waves in others. It consistently has looked awful and I’ve just pinned it back and let it’s do it thing while it transitioned. I’ve now more curls and I’m still learning how to manage it. It definitely doesn’t look great most days as I’m still figuring out how to style it and what products to use.

But, like always, lily concocts some excuse as to why she can’t do something or blames it on someone / something else. She’s really going to, sadly, do a number on grey with all of her issues and preconceived ideas about how things should go
