Lol yep I don’t think so. Had we mentioned how her apartment wasn’t aspirational at that point anyway?

Love the narrative all these types take about how we are pathetic and unhappy and unfulfilled. No? Like a person can find someone irritating in some capacity and want to unload on this whilst still being happy. I mean it’s just like celebrity gossip ultimately. This is a dedicated place to discuss these things and we aren’t speaking directly to her. Doesn’t seem pathetic to me?
 
I think of this like a conversation I would have with a friend over coffee about people we both follow on Insta - just written down and with people I don’t know, but who often share similar views.

If you have a public profile people are entitled to opinions of you, you can choose not to be aware of them by not searching your own name the same way you wouldn’t hear people chatting about celebrities/influencers in their homes or cafes.

Replying to the hundreds of DMs you get a day is actually part of your job as a “influencer” or “content creator”

like any other job, who gets customer questions or enquires! You’re selling your soil so need to reply to your “customers”
 
Yeahhh I struggle to believe Leigh doesn’t discuss public figures or mutual associates etc when she’s with friends. They don’t think it’s weird and pathetic that people watch and share their content in the first place, so I’m not sure how people having a negative opinion is drastically different? No one is sending her nasty messages or even saying much more than “I think she’s annoying” 🤷🏻‍♀️

And yes, the apartment has only been mentioned recently, but she hasn’t read here since March 👀

I lOVE how every influencer says Tattlers are boring unsatisified unhappy insecure people, mate, im happy, live a happy fullfilling life with my husband and children, we have good fulltime jobs, our children are healthy, we own our home and cars, I have a wonderful extended family and the best of friends. Tattle is no different to sitting around talking with my girlfriends.

This for me is water cooler chat. I don’t message these influencers or troll them but I find them frustrating especially after Covid and now with an economic downturn we don’t expect them to stop advertising just read the room. Don’t whine about getting too many freebies. Some people can’t afford to eat at the moment
 
I’ve been following LC for awhile. I listen to a lot of podcasts including You Beauty so probably heard of her through there.
I do feel that’s she’s changed lately. She used to be more relatable and down to earth. At times now she comes across as privileged, arrogant and annoyed at her followers.
I absolutely get that paid and sponsored content is how she generates her income but if you are plugging everything from shoddy cleaning companies to meal delivery services and are stepping further and further away from the beauty content then you have to take on board some criticism for that. I feel like she will promote pretty much anything if the price is right. And this makes me less inclined to purchase anything because her opinion is based on payment. If Urban Cleaning company came and cleaned my home for free every week I’d be singing their praises too.

I know she doesn’t work for us but if we didn’t exist she couldn’t be an ‘influencer’ she would have no one to influence and unfortunately if she’s promoting things she needs consumers to buy them. No followers = no income. Where else she earning her money from besides the podcast?
The comment about being able to call up and get a free hotel stay whenever she wants annoyed me. For most people an overnight stay in a city hotel is a huge luxury. Check your privilege LC!
As to her thinking we all lead sad, pathetic lives ….absolutely not! This is a bit of light entertainment, nothing more.

Stay humble LC, stay humble.

Maybe self reflect on the very people that fund your lifestyle and are telling you 'anonymously' you are a stuck up bleep and do something about it.

Such a condescending, rude mole.
