Expelled from School. Failed exams at University. Couldn't face doing shorthand and only got given a job writing computer game reviews and a gossip column on a newspaper. Failed as a daytime TV host. Sacked from Newsnight. Not sure what his books are like, but I can't imagine they are much cop, more of a vanity project by the sounds of it. LBC is the last stop I think ... not sure where else or what else he could do other than calling people gammons and circling the Brexit doom-loop toilet bowl.
 
It's quite sad when you put it like this..but true. He can get his kicks from patronising the easy meat callers and boasting about being a published author but basically he's settling for second best with a morning radio show which has a loyal following of easily impressed listeners who offer him constant reassurance as to his "worthiness" and intelligence. Bullying the "gammons" may be entertaining but it's limited, as you say.

Latest accounts of his company that he owns 50/50 with his wife, a nice little tax avoidance vehicle right there. Looks like they cleaned out the bank account with dividends taken in the year to 31st March 2022. I'm sure it's no coincidence that the tax on dividend income went up on 6th April last year

She's so unsuitable for that show, it's absurd. Presumably Kirsty Walk didn't want to do it (or maybe she's seen as too anti-Tory). I suppose Fiona is regarded as about as 'neutral' as it gets and that kind of person is hard to find these days. Victoria Derbyshire is another one ... but she clearly loathes the Tories too(and she's loathesome herself). :LOL: I won't list all the other female's at the Beeb, it's ok ...

I was thinking and going to comment here that she would be more suited to LBC. LBC are definitely more left leaning so It would make sense to hire her as a presenter. I'm sure they could find a slot rather than keep the same old, tired ex-BBC presenters. I'm neither a fan or non-fan of her, but LBC would be good for some new blood.

There were gasps on QT last night when asked if he would pledge allegiance to King Jug Ears & Lammy said definitely he will.
This is down to Lammy contacting Charles years ago & asking for help with kids in his constituency, Charles set up one of his Trust projects, helping kids turn their lives around.
