LBC Chit Chat #15

Seriously, how many people listening give a flying duck about stocks and shares? I swear Nick still thinks it's 1984, Thatcher is in power, we're all driving around The City in a Porche with a massive brick mobile phone shouting BUY! SELL!!! Nick is thrilled Murdoch has crushed the unions and can't wait to get to work at Wapping. (I might be a bit off with the Wapping bit, not sure when the tabloids moved there). I provide content, not accuracy. 😬

Carol blaming social media for the riot in Stockport. And where has she spent the past year, spreading her message; where would she be without social media?

Social media and X are a cesspit apart from the stuff she posts

I did see it all unfold yesterday. Not long after the attack in Southport there was lots of posts that got traction very quickly naming someone responsible (to the point the name was trending), MI6 knew of him, came over here last year etc etc ... I just knew what was going to happen.

Tom goading scousers for content after a couple of kids have been killed. A new bleeping low. LBC must be bleeping desperate. Click Off. I know Tom studied theology, not sure if he's a bible-basher or not, but either way, he should be bleeping ashamed of himself. Bloke gives me the creeps anyway, I won't be listening to him again anytime soon.

I wonder if he'll try and do his Edinburgh gigs.

FURTHER UPDATE: No sign of gallstones but gallbladder infected and inflamed. Decision on op put off until we see if antibiotics work. Hope to be discharged tomorrow, but won’t be at full capacity for some time, I’m told. Renewed thanks for all the kind comments and to the wonderful people who have been caring for me.

Feeling a bit down. Was moved to a ward from A&E at midnight (!). Spent the night next to Mount Vesuvius. Thought he must be a 20 stone builder. Turned out to be a slip of a lad but boy can he snore. A&E so much nicer and quieter!
