Sad beige rooms for sad beige children. Even a vintage Peter rabbit bedroom would have been adorable with hints of pastel pinks and yellows if you really dislike colour that much. I'm sure 'keeks' is showing personality in what she likes by now, just give the poor bairns something they like instead of it fitting your aesthetic. It's their personal space, not yours Loz, they should be able to have a happy space that is purely them! I can't stand when parents won't give their children the room they want because it doesn't fit the parents aesthetic.

My friend was a boy mum and when having her third she was happy with another boy as she had everything already … it’s was a girl. She was adamant she wouldn’t be a Barbie, Disney, pink glitter girl … oh ah! Her, the pony and her doll now have matching clothes

The bedroom situation is so bizarre, ok so they have a separate (equally shit looking) playroom on another floor in their house.. so what do the kids do when she’s say running a bath, putting washing away, maybe getting ready herself, getting one ready for bed the children can’t exactly play in those rooms! The girl can’t safely go on that bed without nearly falling off breaking her neck I just don’t get it at all. All seems so cold and uninspiring.

Each to their own with decor but what really confuses me is why she needed an “interior designer” for that?! It’s white walls, bed etc and a splash of purple. My kids could have come up with that! I would really be asking for my money back.

Good I'm glad she's getting these comments.
I've just done my son's room over the weekend and we've had fun picking shelves to display his fave Lego figures etc.
How sad for that little girl having such a boring grown up room coz her mother can't be arsed to change it up every few years. They are only young once.
Kyle maybe a lot of things but at least he's giving her all that money to make sure them kids are looked after and can have the best things and she's wasting it.
Where is that money going??
