I just can't get my head around how little care and attention she shows him at bedtime. Bedtime is when they tell you their thoughts and worries, that's when they suddenly decide to tell you all about their day. How can he feel like she is listening when she has her phone out recording?
Also read the damn book properly.

Mental. Thank goodness there's a nanny and nursery involved I say? Absent parents, there's no way these kids would develop with any bit of normality without that. Impossible.
Lauryn a picture of questionable salmon with cheese on top doesn't compensate for your absent parenting.

So well said 👏🏼 For me this is abuse, and should not be allowed to continue! Questioning her 4 year old son to try and prove a point to strangers online about his absent father 🤦‍♀️ Lowest of the low!
