The same here too! It’s actually quite worrying that Lauren and her friends think that it’s completely normal behavior. This is something that would make a good storyline for a film though!

I’m pretty sure the Wedding Co-ordinator would have thought that Lauren was a sandwich short of a picnic! In my opinion (which doesn’t mater) I think it’s rather embarrassing.

Tbh I can’t judge, my husband and I booked our wedding before he officially proposed we’d been together 6 years though and had bought a property together, we just wanted to choose a ring together and have a couple of years to plan the wedding to spread out the cost. We did all the venue viewings and bookings together. I haven’t listened to the podcast but did they look at the venue and book it together? I agree it would be weird for Lauren to have booked it without him involved

They looked at the venue together and had to book it there and then to get the date they wanted and they agreed he would propose later x
