I remember the pic online of her taking a woman from court. That case in particular was quite high profile and id imagine was bleeping horrible to sit through and investigate due to the nature of it. So id say she has seen and heard some horrendous stuff in the job to be fair to her. But if I basically used my insta as splinter group of onlyfans, my ones would be staging an intervention

I vaguely remember this. Is this the pic that she went to ground over. I don't doubt she has seen alot of horrible things but that was literally her walking the accused from the prison van to court. She would have had no involvement in the investigation. That's the role of detectives

I thought she brought more attention to it than anything. The pic was going around but laura came on insta being like “I know ye have all seen that picture... bla bla”. Sure that would have only made those who hadn’t seen it more curious. She would have been better off saying nothing. I think she liked the attention it brought

Course she did! She'd only be delighted to tell us all she's a guard single handedly saving the world through a global pandemic but you know... Bosses and all that
 
I can't remember exactly but she posted on her story about how something reminded her of when she "lived in Darnadale".

Which is just obviously a lie.... and a weird thing to lie about....

Quick search on Daft will show you there's nothing for rent in Darnadale. I think most people are familiar with inner city flats or what was Ballymun towers. It would be like her saying she lived there in "the flats". Basically impossible.

It's getting trendy to say you are from "the flats" or your parents or grandparents are from there.

Yea I get that but I just mean in general, the nitty gritty of the details in the investigation would have been discussed at length in court, in addition to many other cases of the same nature. Listening to cases like that day in day out, I personally dont think I would be mentally able for it. Even being the first garda on the actual scene in a case like that would be hard to stomach, even for our Laura.
 
She never lived in Darndale. When she moved to Dublin she lived in lucan or near there with a bf. Then when he copped on and kicked her out she moved to carrickmines area before stepaside with Ian. And as for that court case there are no details given unless Its a hearing or a trial. Laura was just escorting her that day. Cases are always before the courts many times before it gets to hearing/trial. That was just a 'mention' day.
