I wonder how this saga ends. It’s awful to watch but an example of how quickly a persons life can implode. Yes she’s a cuntessa, but she is also very unwell. I believe the bottom is about to be brought up (so she can hit rock bottom) such that change might come about. Maybe.

Ben’s message is very clear and concise. He is best to only communicate through lawyers at this point or at least through an app like Our Family Wizard. He should completely block her on all other channels. My brother had to do the same thing. He has to protect his peace so he can focus on the children.

Yes this is what I mean about bringing the bottom up. Ceasing enablement, usually through withdrawal of resources, firm boundaries etc. Bit tricky given it’s a separation, but Ben seems firm on the way he’s going about this, and I think her parents won’t be handing over any cash. She might find herself homeless and penniless in a hot minute. I really hope she is able to accept help soon, though I suspect this spiral is going to have an ugly ending.

The problem is he's in a rock and a hard place - if he doesn't hand it over, I 100% guarantee her lawyer will make accusations of financial abuse etc - she's already alluded to it.
He's almost better off giving bits to her (maybe not 5K at a time!), but keeping track of it - and making a case for her complete mismanagement and need for any settlement to be in a trust for the children, possibly managed by her father, as he seems to also have his head screwed on *and* the best interests of the children in his mind too.
Either way, I am absolutely in agreement that this is ending badly. Horrid for the people who care about her

Ok so I’ve done my research on money and separation, he still has to give her money as really she’s going to get some at the end of it anyway. But I think the best possible thing to do right now is for the lawyers to get involved in the money side of things so she only gets a certain amount of money per week and has to live on that instead of demanding thousands of dollars every few days from Ben. She is vile human being and he is not going to get anywhere with her as she has rocks in her head or maybe parasites…
