I swear Laura doesn't have 'mum (or parent guilt'). How can you give a child 1 present for Christmas? And think that's ok.

My husband is working 12 hour shifts Monday to Friday next week. So we're having christmas today. (Our son is 13, we've spoken to him about it and he's fine). However we've kept a few presents back for Christmas Day. And are still having special food. Etc
But the guilt is eating me up. However there's nothing we can do about it! He's gotta work 🤷🏻‍♀️
 
I’m my opinion a standard ‘summer’ holiday isn’t a Xmas present for kids. She’s booked that holiday because SHE wants a holiday. It’s always about her, always has been, always will be. So, to get around not having to buy her kids presents she’s using the holiday as an excuse and gifting that to them. So, yet again, lard arse Laura puts herself first. She’s a disgrace.

100%. Even that little "holiday" they had in the airbnb wasnt really a holiday at all was it. There was lauras reasons behind it and she didnt even bother putting a holiday form in at the school. She is disgustingly selfish. All about her nothing to do with the kids at all. If i seen her do something genuine and actually from the heart i would give her a bit praise but not once do i see it. She does nothing to prove any of us wrong, she is happy to try convince herself shes a good mum. She is as fake as they come. Its bleeping depressing to see.
 
My 22 year old moved out 2 years ago. I’ve just packed his present gift bag (he doesn’t like stuff wrapped, never has) and he’s got:- socks, hot choc from whittard, his favourite Turkish apple tea, some Lindt chocs, some mince pies, Christmas cake and a £50 Amazon voucher.
and yes he comes on our summer holiday every year. Have never in all my 22 years of parent hood (3kids) given them a summer holiday as a Christmas present.
 
Speaks volumes of the parent she is to give the holiday as a "present". My single mum worked her bleeping arse off staying up through the night etc to give us holidays not once were they "gifts". Also none of our dads helped in any way shape or form. Sometimes the holidays would be just standard UK ones but she always did this.

She was absolutely vile last night, as soon as Alfie walked into her room she had a face like thunder and kept saying "Right get out of my room I need me time.." then she shouted that they weren't a family in need because she'd just paid for a 5 star all inclusive holiday.. Lewis then got the blame for her big bleeping mouth opening. "WHY DO YOU ALWAYS RUINNNNN IT LEWISSS, IF YOU BOTH WENT WHEN I TOLD YOU, HE WOULDNT KNOW".

Alfie came back in and she demanded he bring his sweets that she gave him early and scoffed her bleeping face. This woman makes my skin CRAWL with anger. She should be bleeping ashamed of herself and her "parenting" it's appalling. Those kids never had a fair chance in life with her.
 
If the final payment is due at the end of January she will probably be going in February. If she has any sense she will be going in February half term but 2000 tells me it's in term time.

Also 16 degrees and cloudy in Turkey in February. She's thick as duck, she could have gone other places for about the same price but with actual sun.

Its all about her though isn't it, she wants to go Turkey so that's what they are doing.
 
Agree, if the balance is due January they’ll be going Feb/March during school term. She just doesn’t give a tit about the kids education. Apparently, Chucky wants to be a doctor (🤣🤣) so this year is really important for him, it’s his GCSE exam year, yet she’ll be pulling them out of school to go on some crappy holiday that’ll no doubt be a disaster on every level.
