It's horrible at the clutching at straws phase. I remember it with relatives before the days of go fund me and Google. Someone read an old book that said about flax seeds and next thing you know, everyone is buying flax seeds.
Now some clinic in Mexico will give you those flax seeds for 45 grand. Its disgraceful.

Yes, one which was created Apr 21 to raise 70k for Mexico and was extended to 120k last year for more treatment so I'd say the funds were depleted hence the huge drive for the new GFM.

The old one has been getting donations the last month but the new fundraiser is the main one now with 420k target which has raised 360k in a few weeks.

But yes, to your point, 2 GFMs at over £500k plus there are still raffles, events, fundraising ongoing

I read another comment that said if the treatment doesn't work and Laura passes away, that the family have stated that the money raised will go to charities. However they don't want to be thinking about that and are hopeful the treatment will work. I think that's fair enough and it's nice to see the gfm will be used to help others in their situation.

I'm confused as to why she has posted a short clip of an old video from the day after tge GFM was created. I would have thought it would be better for her or her husband to give an update on how she was doing after Germany.
