I watched half an hour and had to give up on it. It just seemed fragmented and trying to be too bleeping smart and intellectual

I just finished Saltburn! It was slightly pretentious but I love Barry Keoghan and would watch him in anything. Rosemund Pike was hilarious too. The bathtub scene was absolutely foul but I think the noises made it worse. And the ending had me cracking up, I will forever have that scene burned into my head whenever I hear that song now

Society of the snow, on Netflix. Brilliant, moving film and better than the 1993 one about the same events (the 1972 plane crash in the Andes). Very well directed, and I’m not usually someone to notice these things, but the sound design on this film is amazing (and harrowing).

I’m in the middle of this. Agree about the title . Guessing the film makers wanted to bring the story to a new audience. It does feel a bit more authentic that it’s Spanish speaking actors rather than English speaking. Other than that - no there is nothing new about the film.

I think it’s based on the book one of the survivors wrote. I really liked it…that middle bit where they have become so used to what they had to do to survive. The scene will stay with me.
