I had YouTube on in the background while cleaning. PCDev's new video was on when I came back to the living room and it is all about house buying. I happened to catch him talking about a friend of his who bought a house in Celebration about 8 months ago. He mentioned that his friend's house is already down $100,000 under what he paid.

I don't know if Dev and Kyle really talked or if he was throwing some shade but thought it was funny. Of course, Dev could be talking about someone else, but it is quite a coincidence.

Came here to comment on that as I’m watching it right now. If it is Kyle the $650k figure is off a bit and also I don’t think Kyle would admit to anyone he took a loss since he’s always talking about his investments and his 60k per video views and such.

The Disney vlogging thing is going in the crapper. If you can keep your overhead low it’s probably the smart thing unless you can get a mortgage for $3k or under (likely like promise hope). Also have a partner with a decent income.

I don’t feel like these millennials have any idea about how buying a home works. They also want to keep up with the joneses and get the biggest best they can now instead of starting small and working your way up.
