Yeah, I don't understand that either. I don't understand why she didn't address it in the video- it sounds like Alex needed close attention? Hopefully someone was with him.

Beautiful video, I feel like Keira is wasted on Youtube.
 
Good god that video was depressing (although beautifully filmed). Almost felt like a mini ad for her mum’s shop/patreon. Also, I know we don’t know the ins and outs of their marriage but if my husband was so ill that he was bound to the living room floor all day there’s absolutely no way I’d be leaving him alone to go to my parents’ house every weekend. That seemed very strange
 
I know it was beautifully shot, agree that it was depressing and some of the things seemed like an overshare, like the footage of her and Alex facetiming, Alex on the floor, and the audio of her mum struggling to put on her shoes. It felt like I was being hit over the head with 'wholesome twee vibes' as well with the random mentions of Beatrix Potter, her mum cycling barefoot, closeups of flowers, hair swishing and wafting around in dresses.... I don't know, it seems like she does videos every 6 months asking for support.

I agree. Disgraceful that she still has that patron active. She's not a content creator anymore. It's frustrating because I used to really like kiera, but I've come across so many beggy grifters now that I've lost patience.

She's clearly talented, I think she needs to reassess what's going on in her personal life and make some changes to relieve some of the stress. I wonder if moving in with family would be an option if she stays weekends anyway. I really hope that Alex is doing okay, IBD is awful.
 
I know it’s been said before, but if she’s struggling for money then why doesn’t she get a job? Lana is in nursery now and from what you guys have said about Alex, she’s not home with him much anyway. Makes absolutely no sense to me. It’s the obvious solution to her financial problems- even a part time job would help.

I often wonder how an interview with one of these influencers would go, if they went back to work.
“I see you have a gap here of… 7 years… what were you doing in that time?”
“Oh, I was making a couple of videos a year and had an online shop that sold a few bits here and there. I also had 1 kid, which took up all my time- I might aswell have had 5 kids! I was very busy!”
I had an interview during covid and they questioned my 3 month employment gap that was due to the pandemic. Some interviewers are ridiculous!
 
I think some influencers like Kiera kind of regress into their online personas? Like for example Kiera has said she's socially anxious etc before and because she's in her own little bubble of just making videos and going to her mum's house she's not really facilitating herself to improve?
She does have her photography business which seems to be going well and she shares client photos from time to time but it's clearly not bringing in much money if she's still struggling.
I've said before but Kiera really is one of the influencers I root for and I really like her but in some instances she doesn't help herself. She doesn't really do sponsored content does she? I wonder if the offers have dried up or if she thinks she's above accepting random brand deals?
 
Offers have surely dried up because she never posts.
When she was at her most active, she was getting some good deals, PR packages, event invites.

Now she’s not getting any of that, she just has to hope and pray people subscribe to the Patreon and order from Little Doe. I doubt she’s getting mass amounts of orders on the regular since she’s not as present online anymore, and she only does a small amount of stock at a time anyway.
 
I'm not sure about her doing brand content in the future as she's not vegan anymore... from memory a lot of brands she worked with/products she talked about sponsorship or no were vegan/cruelty free. She posted about eating red meat on her instagram with Alex a while ago (to clarify, not just Alex eating it but her as well)

Sorry, but are people actually paying this? I think she relies massively on the ‘hardcore’ fans to order from her tbh.

The reason was Lana was very unsettled and cried all the time. Said it wasn’t fair on her to force her into an environment that clearly distresses her, so she’s going to keep her home and try other forms of socialisation to get Lana used to it.
 
Didn’t give her very long, everyone knows it can take some kids a long time to get used to things like that, you don’t just give up. There are loads of ways to get Lana used to it.
Try harder, she’s your daughter, yes give her what she wants but only when it means doing what’s best for her in the end. Most kids get unsettled for a while when they start something like that. Even if they go back after being away for a while when they used to enjoy it.
Keiras own anxieties over leaving Lana there very likely influenced her daughters own feelings of it.
 
I don’t really know much about autism in children and how much they can deal with but I’m sure Kiera said how pleased she was with how Lana was coping with nursery and now suddenly she’s not coping etc.
I think she should try find a specific special needs nursery and not just pull her out completely and say it’s fine I can socialise her
 
Yes, pulling her out of nursery might solve an issue in the short term but might cause issues when she starts school. I wonder how Kiera plans to 'socialise' her.
