The wall they’ve painted in Aria’s room...
Have they not painted the ceiling? Or is that masking tape I can see? Can’t really work it out from the picture. If it’s not masking tape then why have they painted the walls first? You do the ceiling first, no?
They haven't a clue have they!

Start at the bottom and work down is usually what most people do! Those with common sense anyway!

Ah glad it’s not just me! I thought I’d be doing the painting wrong my entire life ? I’ve always done ceiling, then walls, then finish off by glossing.
I tend to gloss first but each to their own to be honest.. Doesn't matter though.

Normal emulsion paint though work downwards as paint might drip. Just like clean work top to bottom as dirt falls down as you go!

I dread to think what mess they will make next!

Is that it with the chimney then? are they just taking the roof part away? What about the rest .. surely it’s still structurally holding the house together? How can they utilise it from the kitchen? I’m confused ??

We will have to wait for the next episode of wozzas mush on the roof!

I think they have got some cowboy to do it as It would take more than one person and they surely to god wouldn’t want wozzas help! He’s probably more of a hindrance than a help ?

Yes my when my sister had her chimney taken out her builder had 3 guys there everyday and a few of the days 4 guys mind she had to book him 8 months in advance to get her work done she had about 5 builders do quotes and although he was far from the cheapest he was by far the best in offering her advice such as when to clean the chimney before the job begun etc. Have to say his team were really good at cleaning up everyday but they used the big flexible tubs you can get at places like B&Q to get rid of all the bricks and crap.

So they removed the attic chimney breast to prepare for an attic conversion in a few years time.
Not sure who have got advice from as it seems quite conflicting but the kitchen chimney breast is going to be removed to then be a faux chimney breast with range cooker inset.
Sounds like they are just jumping in with pricey work and realising they can’t backtrack!

It's stuff like this they haven't considered at all isn't it!
Let's all sit back and watch!

I saw her post with that odd face mask saying she feels bad that sienna's had a rubbish half term. It did make me feel bad, as mum guilt gets the better of us all sometimes, then I thought you could have planned this alot better Kerry. It's obvious kids delay things while you're trying to decorate or renovate, why drag them round there in the first place. She should have left Warren to it for a couple days and used some of this cash they seem to have loads of to take the girls out for one day. Even if it was just swimming and some lunch, I'm sure sienna would have liked that.
Then I got real and thought, I've never seen her take all 3 out on her own. I imagine she would struggle big time and either end up with one of her 999 migraines or have to make 7 pit stops to feed Roma.

Talking about fuse boxes .. we got a new kitchen in the summer. Our house is 15 years old and we had to get a new fuse box as we wanted an electric cooker, an electric extracter fan and a plug socket moving 3 inches .. nothing fancy here and we still had to fork out for that!
