As if someone has asked what a class rep does

Why can't school just communicate these things with parents, why does is need to go via a class rep? We just get a message from school with stuff we need to know.
I had emails go to junk etc and sometimes just not sent them. It’s a useful way to remember important things!

I've had two children go through primary school and never had class reps, what kind of important things? Anything we needed to know was posted on the school app. I don't see how it needs streamlined

We have a member of the PFA in each year to do this. Is it the same? I don’t think I’ve ever heard them moan about school

It’s a new one on me, and I’ve been a primary school teacher for over 20 years A bloody class rep?! That’s not a real thing Kelly, and it’s not a job, so don’t start acting like you’re so busy and important 
No offence to busy mums because I’ve dropped the ball once or twice over the 8 or so years I’ve been a school mum, but some bossy mum telling me daily what to do would piss me right off! Class WhatsApp groups are painful enough, and all have that one who thinks she’s in charge, giving her an actual title is just a nightmare. And as a teacher I think I do pretty well communicating with parents myself thanks

Secondary school we have an app and important info goes there.

So I partially agree with Kelly on the class rep thing- it is a real thing! Whether you choose to read the WhatsApp group at all or mute it is up to you but it was handy!

Oh dear, Kelly’s got eyes for Dean hasn’t she! Is he behind her manic exercise regime of late?! She looks happier with him than she ever does with safe but dull Ian!

Poor Abi, she’s been massively overfed by her mother. Ironic that Kelly is now working out daily and drinking kale smoothies but left her own little girl to get in such a state.
