Oh I’m enjoying this.....especially the Adam Boulton retweet

I don't like the woman, but I'm confused about what the rule break was? Was the dinner breaking the restrictions, or is she actually getting taken off air for popping into a restaurant to use the loo?
Not just the journalist. There is a agreement not to talk about the private lives of the proprietors in each others papers. So, no paper ever mentioned that the previous Lord Rothermere left his wife (who had a mental breakdown) for another woman, or Murdochs marriage breakdowns, Barclay brothers tax arrangements etc.The hypocrisy of these so-called journalists knows no bounds - quick enough to dump on anyone outside of their chummy little clique, but quite another when one of their own is in the spotlight.
Thank you for explaining, sorry I hadn’t seen what she’d done!(including her there were 10 at her dinner. A table of 6 and one of 4, allegedly)
Burley is understood to have blamed the situation on misunderstandings in planning and organising the event. But she did not address why a group of four people, including Rashid and former Sky News royal correspondent and Huawei PR executive Paul Harrison, returned to her home after the dinner, a claim that is not believed to be in dispute. Other Sky News staff are understood to be irritated by details of the event.
Under the tier 2 restrictions in London, indoor social gatherings of any kind are barred except among those who live together or have formed a support bubble. Groups of up to six can socialise outdoors. Police can impose fines of £200 for a first-time breach.
Under the rules, Burley’s initial gathering would only have been allowed if the two tables remained separate throughout and sat outside. It is not clear how many of the group went to the second venue, but Burley’s tweets suggested that the rules were broken during this part of the evening. A group of four gathering at her home would be against the rules unless they remained outside throughout.
Or better still, bundled into a sack and thrown into a sewage plant
(Oops, sorry. That's a bit unfair......
..to the sewage plant )
She's hideous and always has been. I have long wondered about her apparent "untouchable" status. There are several incidents I feel she crossed a line and should have been sacked, suspended or at least warned.
I think I must be the only person on this planet who likes her. I really do and did like her on that programme when she went on the run.
I'm highly amused by kaygate imagine spending months going on like a rabid dog that other people should be sacked for not following the rules and then not following the rules yourself
