Well I have a thing for ugly shoes and mine has realised that's what I will wear, whether he likes them or not. I also wear either really dark colours, or muted/pastel colours and he'd like me to wear something bright every now and then, but we both know it ain't happening.

Yessss troll the duck out of him 🤣 my boyfriend hates my Birkenstocks with a passion, gutted I can’t swagger about in them in December (although could add socks and make them thrice as sexy)

I honestly can’t fathom what goes through her head when she posts this stuff to her audience. Girl, I take the bins out regularly, it ain’t a thing.

“think about content for 2022”…. Please. I would think about updating CV if I were her..
 
Surely Katie should make it clear in the video that the Impress treatment is gifted and mark the video as an AD in the title as well. In the video she acknowledges she can only drink water with her aligners in, then buys lemons to make some lemon water :rolleyes: Lemon water is acidic, so definitely not something to drink with aligners in because she could really damage her teeth. Maybe Katie's going to mess up her teeth next instead of her skin.

I know she's stopped 'signing off' at the end of videos but this weeks even ends mid sentence!

The ending was really jarring. I find it so lazy when a video is just ended so abruptly.

In the comments on the vlog someone warned about the lemon water being acidic. Katie responded saying her orthodontist had said it would help the cuts in her mouth but that she'd now stopped having the lemon water...

Edit to add: it's like she needs to post something, anything just as a reminder that she's there. No one needs reminding that she's taking some time off and is doing bugger all.

Anyone else find the fact that all influencers get teeth straightening done depressing? I get that it’s gifted, but I genuinely don’t think anyone would’ve noticed the ‘wonky’ tooth Katie points out in her vlog - I have a tooth exactly the same but it doesn’t bother me too much. it just makes me sad to think of younger viewers who watch these influencers and are convinced they need dead straight teeth!

yeah, this is a really good point. I think Zoella is one of the few influencers who has actually not done this and I applaud her for it, her teeth are fine but not ~absolutely perfect~. She still looks good IMO
