I hate to say this but I suspect today’s hearing didn’t require her attendance and she knew that. It was about garnishing income streams to recoup the debt. Didn’t matter whether she was there or not.

I doubt if a dealer would handle it, they'd be expected to give a guarantee of 3 months or so and I don't think any dealer would be so stupid, knowing what a repair to that clanking old banger could cost.
