Going way back in time I know - but just wondered if anyone could shed any light on this?

Someone will know for sure - but my guess is that they just got sick to death of her drunk/drugged up/embarrassing behaviour and weren’t prepared to do her make up for free.

This country was written about the life of her and her brother, who plays her cousin curtain. I believe she’s not too far removed from the character she plays. Maybe it’s a caricature and exaggerated but I think she’s the type of person to love price tbh.
