I’ve been looking for a thread on her. I get she’s been through hell but it’s like it’s all me me me. She did a program where ppl had body modifications and all she kept harking on about was why do that to yourself when you have a choice. I didn’t have a choice to be disfigured! It’s like that’s all she has about her. Like she’s been through the worst possible thing and no one else has. This is what makes her unlikeable to me.

I don't think she's a particularly good tv presenter. I feel bad for her tragedy and admire her strength coming back from what happened. I don't think that should make her immune from criticism for her presenting skills though

She looks down her nose at everyone. If you see her out and about, it’s obvious she thinks she’s superior. She tried to get into presenting before but pretty much failed.. her attack has become her personality and that’s where she got her success from. (Not in anyway condoning such an awful attack on anyone btw)
 
I felt for her and liked her a lot in the early documentaries she did, but she gets on my tits about now.

Caught a few seconds of Loose Women the other day and she was on claiming to have booked her Christmas grocery delivery SEVEN months ago. Do duck off, love! The earliest they open slots is October. Why the need to over exaggerate so much? Made me question what else she's been economical with the truth on.

Someone wrote Sarah Lancaster (or a similar name) and didn't want anyone who was searching g for info to waste time searching for the wrong name.

I was trying to quote both posts. I'm registered blind and sometimes mistakes can be made, I apologise if that has hurt your feelings, as your reply seemed quite curt.

Her whole family looks down her nose at everyone.. let’s face it before her attack, she wasn’t getting anywhere really on tv. If you seen her out and about she’s very aware of who she is.. after her attack she tried to get well known in the town she lives - didn’t last long, and it certainly didn’t get her anywhere

Is the family disliked in their community? Was this the case even before the attack?

Fully agree with this.

I hate to say it as there seems to be a bit of stigma against speaking out against people who have been victims of heinous crimes but it is well known that Katie was definitely up her own ass before the attack and she is very much still the same now. Her mum is also very much snooty like Katie and they’re not subtle about it either when they’ve been out and about in Essex.

You are so right.. I nearly didn’t say anything as I thought I would get grief for it.
she did a documentary thing where she came to her home town and ‘went out for the first time’ or something.. in the documentary you saw her walk down the road to the shop as if she was some A star celebrity.. but no one could care less.. it’s quite comical really

I think it's a bit odd how her past work (basically soft porn) never gets mentioned. Just that she was a 'tv presenter'. I'm sure I saw it mentioned years ago that she was a presenter on Babestation or similar
